Wiring Diagram
If your car has a 3G MMI radio system, you need to connect it to the CAN bus
socket behind the passenger side storage box, as shown in the following figure
If your car has a concert/symphony radio system, you need to connect it to the
CANbussocket behind the air conditioning control panel, as shown in the
following figure.
Connect the power and audio adapters to the rear panel of the original Audi
host
Connect the power and audio adapters to the original wiring harness removed
fromtheAudi original host
The yellow RCA socket, labeled “CCD-AHD/CVBS”, is used for video input to
the after-sales rearview camera. Cable labeled “CAM PWR”. This is the
trigger wire for the after-sales reversing camera. This wire should be
connected to the red wire of the camera, which indicates that the screen
switches to the camera image when reversing
Connect the MMI I/F to the socket of the LVDS socket to restore the function of the MMI button.
Detailed connection of automotive LVDS Connect the LVDS cable (removed from
the original Audi display) to the car LVDSport of the LVDS cable, otherwise
the information of the original Audi car computer and rear viewcamera cannot
be displayed. Please note that the LVDS socket is located on the back of the
original monitor. Therearetwo types of LVDS sockets here (MMI/non MMI)
Center speaker cable
The connection position is shown in the following figure. Remove the horn
fromthe original center console of the car and insert the two plugs into the
socket and horn respectively.
Operation and sound
Click on the “Audi MMI” icon on the main screen to switch from the new
upgrade interfaceto the original interface of the Audi car computer
Please note that if it correctly displays the original Audi screen, please
skip this step. But some customers with 3G MMI systems may find that the
system displays incorrectly whenyou access the original Audi display. This is
because the resolution parameters do not match.
Please follow these steps to change the settings:

Try selecting a year range that matches the vehicle and a number that
matches the original car name Audi Multimedia (MMI)/Audi Concert/Audi Symphony
Orchestra: For example, serial numbers 4, 5, and 17 apply to vehicles from
2009 to 2012. Serial numbers: 17, 16, 13, applicable to vehicles from 2013+
Press the ‘Media’ button on the radio panel.
Check the audio source options and select ‘External Audio Input (AUX)’
Please note that if the screen displays “AMI” instead of “AUX”, it is
necessary to plug theAudi AMI-AUX cable (included in the kit) into the AMI
port of the passenger side Glovebox. After inserting this cable, the AMI
option on the screen will switch to AUX.
Camera settings
If your car is equipped with a factory installed rear view camera, please
select ‘Original Camera’.
If installing an after-sales reversing camera, please choose according to the
camera format and connect the camera cable to the back of the screen
