Warning

This product is intended for use by adults aged 18 and over. Please keep this product out of the reach of children.
CAUTION! Possible dangerous radiation! DO NOT stare directly into the light beam or shine the light directly into the eyes of anyone!
The product will generate massive heat during prolonged operation. Please exercise caution during use. It is recommended not to activate high brightness levels, SEARCH, and LUMIN SHIELD™ for extended periods to prevent burns.
DO NOT cover or place objects near the head of the product, as this may cause damage to the product or accidents due to high temperatures.
DO NOT use the product to illuminate flammable or explosive materials, as the high heat may lead to combustion or explosion.
Please use the product in a standard handheld manner to avoid accidents in the event of product failure.
DO NOT submerge the product into any liquid when it is hot. Doing so may cause irreparable damage to the light due to the difference of air pressure inside and outside of the tube.
When the product is placed in an enclosed or flammable environment such as a pocket or backpack, or when it is left unused for an extended period, please turn off the product and activate Full Lockout Mode to avoid accidental activation and dangers caused by excessive heat.
DO NOT expose the product to temperatures above 60°C (140°F) for prolonged time, as this poses a risk of battery explosion or combustion.
Use the original charging cable for power supply.
Please recharge the product every 6 months when left unused for a prolonged time.
DO NOT disassemble or modify this product as doing so will cause damage to it and render the product warranty invalid. Please refer to the warranty section in the manual for complete warranty information.

Battery Safety

Improper use of devices with built-in Li-ion batteries may result in severe battery damage or safety hazards such as combustion or explosion. DO NOT use the device if it is damaged. DO NOT disassemble, puncture, cut, crush, or incinerate the device. If any leakage or abnormal odor is noticed, stop using the device immediately. Dispose of the device/batteries in accordance with applicable local laws and regulations.

Product Overview

TM9K Pro

Charging Function

The TM9K Pro is equipped with intelligent charging function. Please recharge the product before the first use.
Power Connection: The TM9K Pro is available for both Standard Mode and QC Mode. As illustrated, uncap the charging port and use the USB cable to connect an external power supply (e.g. a USB adapter, a power bank or other USB charging devices) to the USB port to begin the charging process.

When charged via a QC adapter, the TM9K Pro will automatically access the QC Mode and the power indicator will flash quickly to inform the user.
When using the Standard Mode, the indicator will flash slowly to inform the user.
When the product is fully charged, it will automatically cease the charging process and the indicator will become steadily turned on to inform the user.
When the light is on, connecting to a power source will automatically turn the light off. The light will return to its previous status when it is disconnected from the power source.
The charging time in QC Mode is approx. 3h 15min. The charging time in Standard Mode is approx. 5h (5V/2A Adapter).
Note: The TM9K Pro will be automatically unlocked when charged in the lockout modes.

Tactical Momentary Illumination

When the light is off, half press and hold the MODE Button to access SEARCH. Release to turn it off.
When the light is off, full press and hold the MODE Button to access LUMIN SHIELD™. Release to turn it off.

On / Off

On: When the light is off, full press the Power Button until a click sound is heard to turn it on.
Off: When the light is on, full press the Power Button until a click sound is heard to turn it off.

Brightness Levels

When the light is on, half press the Power Button to cycle through “ULTRALOW – LOW – MID – HIGH”. The flashlight has a memory function. It will directly access the previously memorized brightness level when reactivated.

Direct Access to SEARCH
When the light is on / off, half press and hold the MODE Button to directly access SEARCH. Release to return to the previous status.

Direct Access to LUMIN SHIELD™
When the light is on / off, full press and hold the MODE Button to directly access LUMIN SHIELD™. Release to return to the previous status.

Lockout / Unlock

The TM9K Pro has two lockout modes (Half Lockout Mode and Full Lockout Mode).

Half Lockout Mode:

When the light is on, half / full press and hold the Power Button until the flashlight flashes once to access Half Lockout Mode.
When in Half Lockout Mode, the Power Button is unavailable to activate the flashlight. Half / full pressing and holding the Power Button will turn on the power indicator; release to turn it off.
When in Half Lockout Mode, half press and hold the MODE Button to access SEARCH; full press and hold the MODE Button to access LUMIN SHIELD™.

Full Lockout Mode (Default Setting):

When the light is on, half / full press and hold the Power Button until the flashlight flashes 3 times to access Full Lockout Mode. Once the Full Lockout Mode is activated, the power indicator will flash to show the battery voltage (±0.1V). For example, when the battery voltage is at 4.2V, the power indicator will flash 4 times followed by a 1.5-second pause and 2 more flashes. Different voltages represent the corresponding remaining battery power levels.
When in Full Lockout Mode, both buttons are unavailable to activate the flashlight. Half / full pressing and holding either button will turn on the power indicator; release to turn it off.

Unlock: In Lockout Mode, full press the Power Button 3 times to exit Lockout Mode. The flashlight will turn on to indicate this process.

ATR (Advanced Temperature Regulation)

The integrated ATR technology regulates the output of the TM9K Pro according to the working condition and ambient environment to maintain the optimal performance.

Power Indication

When the light is on, the power Indicator will indicate the remaining battery power:

Being steadily turned on indicates that the power is above 50%;
Flashing slowly indicates that the power is below 50%;
Flashing quickly indicates that the power is below 10%.

Note: The product should be recharged when the output appears to be dim or the flashlight becomes unresponsive due to low power.

Sensor Protection Function

When there is an obstruction near the light outlet, and the flashlight accidentally access HIGH / SEARCH / LUMIN SHIELD™, the flashlight brightness will automatically decrease to 500 lumens to prevent overheating and prolong the lifespan of the flashlight. The sensitivity of the sensor may differ due to variations in the color and material of obstructions. Once the obstruction is removed, the flashlight will return to the previous brightness level and turn off the sensor protection function.

Note:

When HIGH / SEARCH / LUMIN SHIELD™ is on, covering the light outlet will not activate the sensor protection function, and the brightness remains unchanged.
It is important to keep the front lens clean to ensure that the built-in sensor functions properly to achieve its optimal performance.

Warranty Service

All NITECORE® products are warranted for quality.
Any DOA / defective product can be exchanged for a replacement through a local distributor/dealer within 15 days of purchase. After that, all defective / malfunctioning NITECORE® products can be repaired free of charge within 24 months from the date of purchase. Beyond 24 months, a limited warranty applies, covering the cost of labor and maintenance, but not the cost of accessories or replacement parts.

The warranty will be nullified if

the product(s) is/are broken down, reconstructed and/ or modified by unauthorized parties;
the product(s) is/are damaged due to improper use.
