AFS-TEX Active Anti-Fatigue Standing Surfaces Use & Care

In order to get the best results please note the following:

  1. The mat should be laid on a flat and even indoor floor.
  2. Do not wear high heeled or stiletto foot wear while using the mats as this could result in puncturing of the mat surface.
  3. Ensure the mat surface is kept clean. Grit or other debris on the mat surface could cause damage to the surface from foot movement friction.
  4. Only clean the mat using mild soap and water. Ensure the mat is totally dry, top and bottom, before further use.
  5. Do not fold the mats as this is liable to create excess material strain and damage.
  6. Do not use caster based chairs on the mats.
  7. Do not anchor mats with heavy objects or furniture.
  8. Position your mat under your desk and away from walkways when not in use to avoid trip hazard.

In addition for products 4000X / 5000 / 5000X , 5000S2S and 6000X:

  1. Use the raised Ergobar to gently push or pull the mat into position with your foot as required. Ensure that, when doing so, no part of the mat is anchored to the floor. Pulling or pushing the mat via the Ergobar when the mat is anchored will cause excess material strain and could result in damage.
  2. These products include non-linear raised ergonomic features to maximize its effectiveness. Push the mat under your desk when not in use to avoid potential trip hazards.
  3. The 6000x is delivered rolled for your convenience, so may not be immediately flat on unpacking. Depending on the room temperature the mat should revert to its flat configuration within a few hours or days.

AFS-TEX Active Balance Ball Use & Care

In In order to get the best results please note the following.

  1. The Balance Ball should be used on a flat, even and dry indoor floor.
  2. Do not over-inflate your product. The diameter of your Balance Ball is detailed on the box it was delivered in. It will be either 65cm / 25″ or 75cm / 30″. When inflating the ball, it should not measure more than the size indicated on the box. Over inflating could cause the ball to burst and will invalidate your warranty.
  3. Ensure the ball and cover are kept clean. Grit or other debris that comes in contact with the ball could cause bursting. Avoid contact with any sharp objects.
  4. Only clean the cover and ball with mild detergent and water. Ensure both the ball and covers are fully dry before use to prevent sliding.
  5. Position your Balance Ball away from walkways when not in use.
  6. IMPORTANT: The weight limit for the AFS-TEX Active Balance Ball is 300 Kg / 660 lbs. Use by individuals above this weight may damage the product and will invalidate the warranty.
  7. Ensure your seated position is on top of the ball to prevent it slipping while in use. Not for use by children without adult supervision

AFS-TEX Active Balance Board Use & Care

In order to get the best results please note the following.

  1. The balance board should be laid on a flat and even indoor floor.
  2. Do not wear high heeled or stiletto foot wear while using the board as this could result in puncturing the ergonomic surface.
  3. Ensure the board surface is kept clean. Grit or other debris on the surface could cause damage from foot movement friction.
  4. Only clean the board using mild soap and water. Ensure the board is totally dry, top and bottom, before further use.
  5. IMPORTANT: The recommended weight limit for the AFS-TEX Balance Board is 150 Kg / 330 lbs. Use by individuals above this weight may damage the product and will invalidate the warranty. Not for use by children without adult supervision.

AFS-TEX Active Balance Disc Use & Care

In order to get the best results please note the following.

  1. Your Balance Disc is delivered pre-inflated to the optimum level for immediate use.

  2. Over time of use, it may need deflate and need re-inflating. Do not over-inflate your product. The disc should not be inflated to a height of over 6.5cm / 2.5″.
    Re-inflating your Balance Disc: Moisten the pump adapter before inserting in order to protect the valve. The inflation valve is located on the non-branded side of the disc. Ensure the adapter is only inserted 2-3cm / 1″ into the disc and that it does not make contact with the opposite surface as this could cause a puncture and will invalidate your warranty.

  3. Ensure the Balance Disc is kept clean. Grit or other debris that comes in contact with the disc could cause bursting. Avoid contact with any sharp objects.

  4. Do not use any caustic chemicals or aggressive or abrasive cleaning agents.

  5. Do not store the Balance Disc in places exposed to direct sunlight. Do not expose it to temperatures above 45°C / 114°F.

  6. Do not store the Balance Disc for prolonged periods on top of varnished or lacquered wooden surfaces as the material may react and cause surface damage.

  7. Use when sitting: Even with the Balance Disc, sitting in an erect position for a prolonged period can be strenuous. You should therefore only use it as a sitting aid for a maximum of 2 hours a day.

  8. IMPORTANT: The weight limit for the AFS-TEX Active Balance Disc is 200 KG / 440 lbs. Use by individuals above this weight may damage the product and will invalidate the warranty. Not for use by children without adult supervision

Warranty Information

Should any product, during the warranty period, prove to be defective in material and / or workmanship under normal usage, Floortex will replace the product under the condition that the purchaser proves that the product has not been subjected to abuse, misuse, misapplication, neglect, accident, disaster, alteration or modernization.

Normal wear and tear, including but not specifically limited to, marring and scuffing is not covered under the warranty.

The warranty only applies to the original purchaser. Floortex reserves the right to request damaged products be returned to the factory for inspection before sending a replacement product. Some models may no longer be available. In warranties involving discontinued product, Floortex will provide, at its discretion, a product with the specifications that most closely match the original type purchased or if no replacement is available, Floortex may retract the warranty.

10 Year Limited Warranty
AFS-TEX Active Anti-Fatigue Standing Surfaces are covered by a 10 year limited warranty.
This WARRANTY IS VOID under certain conditions, including but not limited to;

  1. Uses other than floor located anti-fatigue use while standing in suitable foot wear (see use and care conditions above).
  2. Positioning of furniture, including any type of chair, on the mat surface
  3. Use of the mat in an application not recommended by Floortex for that particular model.
  4. Cutting or altering of the mat in any way by any individual or company other than Floortex or its designated agent.
  5. Use of the mat outdoors.
  6. Damage to the product as a result of abuse, misuse, misapplication, neglect, accident, disaster, alteration or modernization.

Prerequisite for the validity of the warranty is that the product is used in accordance with the Floortex guidelines for anti-fatigue mats as detailed in “Use & Care”, above.

After 24 months of purchase date, claims are limited to 1 replacement per product purchased, and Floortex will not be obligated to replace any product which has previously been replaced under this warranty.

This warranty does not cover damage from accidents, misuse, abuse, or improper handling. In no case shall Floortex’s liability under any other remedy prescribed by law exceed the purchase price.

2 Year Limited Warranty
AFS-TEX Active Balance Disc, Balance Board and Balance Seats are covered by a 2 year limited warranty Conditions are as per the 10 Year Limited Warranty details above except: Prerequisite for the validity of the warranty is that the product is used in accordance with the Floortex guidelines detailed in “Use & Care” for the relate product, above.
After 12 months of purchase date, claims are limited to 1 replacement per product purchased, and Floortex will not be obligated to replace any product which has previously been replaced under this warranty.
To apply for a replacement, submit a Warranty Claim Form complete with dated sales receipt or purchase order.
