Product Usage Instructions
Step 1 – Install O-Rings
- Install O-rings (A) onto element bulkheads.
Step 2 – Reinstall Heater Wiring
- Reinstall heater wiring onto terminals and secure with nuts (C).
- Torque nuts to 20 in/lbs.
Step 3 – Install New Heater Element
- Install bulkhead nuts (B) and torque to 15 ft/lbs.
- Carefully insert the new heater element ensuring it is centered in the housing.
- Hold the Bottom Hex (x) with a 1/4 open-end wrench when tightening the Terminal Nut to prevent rotation and damage to the epoxy end seal.

Q: What should I do if leaks occur after replacing the heater element?
A: Ensure that all inner and outer sealing surfaces are clean and free of debris before installing the new o-rings and elements to prevent leaks.
HEATER ELEMENT REPLACEMENT INSTRUCTIONS
CAUTION – After removing the defective element, ensure that all inner and outer sealing surfaces are clean and free of debris before installing the new o-rings, and element or leaks may occur.
WARNING: Hold the Bottom Hex (x) with a 1/4” open-end wrench when tightening the Terminal Nut to prevent rotation and ! damage to the epoxy end seal.
