SONG LYRICS
SONG 1: THE PERFECT GROOVE
I’m looking for the perfect groove
To make my day
Looking for the perfect beat
To sit right down and play| The beat is bumping
The music is pumping
The bass is thumping
Just the way we like it
---|---
Looking for the perfect groove
Don’t need to be hasty
Gonna take my time
And find the one that’s really tasty| Looking for the perfect groove
To make my day
Looking for the perfect beat
To sit down and play
Gotta be a beat that
Makes me feel so good
Following the rhythm
Like I know I would| Looking for the perfect groove
To make my day
I’m searching for that perfect beat
To sit right down and play
It’s gotta be a beat That fits my mood The kind of beat With a funky groove The beat is bumping The music is pumping The bass is thumping Just the way we like it
SONG 2 : YOU DO YOU
You look into the mirror Who do you see An individual With unique abilities Like a ray of sunshine Breaking through the clouds Like a snowflake falling Softly to the ground Every thought, every movement Is part of who you are Follow the beat of your heart It’s gonna take you far You do you Do the things you gotta do You do you Be who you are You do you Be the best that you can You do you Be a shining star Shining star
SONG 3: DANCE TO THE BEAT
The lights are flashing
On the dance floor
The drums are banging
In my head| Dance to the beat
The drums are hitting
Move your feet
---|---
The party’s starting
And the beat is dropping
I’m thinking about
what you said| Dance to the beat
It’s time to party
Got friends to meet.
Dance to the beat
Go with the flow
Follow the rhythm
Let the groove become
Part of you|
Go with the flow
Be in the moment
Listen to the music
And you move, when you|
Dance to the beat
The drums are hitting
Move your feet|
Dance to the beat
Shake your body
Feel the heat|
SONG 4: EVERYDAY’S A GOOD DAY
Every day’s a good day No matter where you are You can look up and down And
all around, but you never Have to look too far Open up your front door And
take a big step outside Look to the left Look to the right Now you know
everything’s Gonna be alright
Every day’s a good day Come rain or come shine Follow your heart Follow your
dreams Things are never as bad as they seem Every day’s a good day Come rain
or come shine Walk in the light Leave the dark behindDo the things you love
And love the things you find
SONG 5: ROCK IT TO THE STARS
Standing in the light In the center of the stage Rocking to the beat Every
night and day Can you feel it? Can you feel it? Reaching out a hand and
Grabbing the beat Pulling it closer The rhythm is sweet Can you feel it? Can
you feel it? Looking to the sky I’m wondering why I can’t hop into a rocket
And take off and fly Up and up we go Higher and I know, we’re gonna Rock it to
the stars Take a trip to Jupiter, Saturn, and Mars, gonna Rock it to the
stars, got Light years to go and we’re Gonna go far Rock it to the stars
Moving to the beat of Time and space, we’re gonna Rock it to the stars Gonna
fly around the sun Put a smile on my face Rock it To the stars Rock it To the
stars Rock it!
SONG 6: THAT’S THE WAY TO PLAY
The music is rocking Time to add the beat Gotta set the groove And make it
complete Let’s have some fun And play along To keep the rhythm Of our song
Pound it out On the 2 and the 4 The backbeat’s driving The kick on the floor
Lay down the beatStrong and steady Come on and pick up your sticks Are you
ready? 1, 2, 3, 4 Keep it going 5, 6, 7, 8 The groove is flowing1, 2, 3, 4
