Before installation
Read the instructions before installation. Technical knowledge is required to install the adapter. The installation location must be free of moisture and away from heat sources. Ensure that you use the correct tools during installation to prevent damage to the vehicle or the product. Switch off the ignition and disconnect the vehicle battery according to the factory specifications! If the vehicle battery must not be disconnected according to the factory specifications, in most cases it is sufficient to put the vehicle into sleep mode. If this does not work, the vehicle battery can be disconnected using a resistor cable.

Installation
Before installing the stalk adapter, the factory radio must be removed and
disconnected. Please refer to the vehicle’s operating instructions/manual or
consult a specialist. A connection cable/lead to the radio for the steering
wheel control is also required for installation (available separately).
Please make sure you have the correct cable before proceeding.

Insert the 4-pin plug of the cable/lead into the socket of the stalk adapter.

Connect the other end of the cable/lead to the steering wheel control input on the back from the aftermarket radio.
NOTE: Depending on the make of the aftermarket radio, this may be a 3.5 mm jack plug or a 1-cable input.
Please refer to the installation manual of the aftermarket radio for more information. Furthermore, the dip switches on the stalk adapter must be set to the specific manufacturer/connection. (see table on page 3). -
Connect the 12-pin plug of the supplied wiring harness to the stalk adapter.

Connect the ISO power/speaker plug to the retrofit radio.
The Phone Mute pink function, for example, must also be connected. -
Connect the plugs of the supplied wiring harness to the plug(s) in the vehicle.

Test the function and the steering wheel control before reinstalling the radio.
If the steering wheel control does not respond, please uninstall the stalk adapters and repeat the steps described above. For further help and support, please contact us directly at support@acvgmbh.de
