Operation Instruction

  1. Connect the power cord and turn on the power switch.
  2. If the display shows (CC), adjust your current and voltage settings accordingly.
  3. About CC &CV:

The power supply functions as a constant voltage source (CV) as long as the load current is less than the preset current limiting value. If the load current becomes equal to or greater than the preset current limit, the power supply will automatically switch to constant current mode and the voltage will drop. If the load current drops below the preset current limit, the power supply returns to constant voltage mode.

FAQ

  • How do I replace the fuse?
To replace the fuse, unplug the plug and use a screwdriver to pry out the fuse box for replacement located at the lower part of the socket.

  • What should I do if the overvoltage protection function is triggered?
If the overvoltage protection function is triggered, check your connections and ensure that the input voltage meets the specified range. Reset the power supply and try again.

Welcome to use NAWEIsz Linear DC Power supplies, read this manual before operating this unit.

Brief Introduction

  • This power supply is a regulated Linear DC power supply which you can adjust the current and the voltage continuously. And it have ON/OFF. We use the LED to display the values of the current and the voltage. And the output terminal is a 4mm “banana”jack.
  • We use the 4 1/2 LED to display the values of the voltage and the current.
    1. the voltage display accuracy: LED 1%2 byte
    2. the current display accuracy: LED 1%2 byte
  • This power supply have perfect protection functions, overvoltage, over temperature and short circuit protection functions, and effectively protects the test load and power supply from damage.
  • This power supply can be used in LED testing and aging, motor manufacturing, PCB manufacturing, battery charging, college laboratories and other places where DC regulated power supply is required. It is the first choice of power supply products for factories, colleges, scientific research, maintenance, etc.

Panel Function

NAWEIsz-NP305A-ENô-f-H-Linear-Mode-DC-Power-Supply-1

  • The introduction of front panel:
1. **Current display:** used to display the current current value, in amperes (A) or milliamperes (mA).
2. **Coarse current adjustment:** used to roughly adjust the current value during current stabilization, which can be adjusted in coordination with (3).
3. **Fine current adjustment:** used to fine adjust the current value during current stabilization, which can be adjusted in coordination with (2).
4. **Constant current indicator lamp:** C.C. constant current indicator lamp. When this lamp is on, it indicates that the power supply is in a steady current working state.
5. **Power switch:** It is used to turn on or off the power supply.
6. **Output cathode:** power output “-” cathode.
7. **Grounding terminal:** safety ground terminal, connected to the power supply housing.
8. **Output positive pole:** positive pole of power output “+”.
9. **Constant voltage indicator lamp:** C.V. constant voltage indicator lamp. When this lamp is on, it indicates that the power supply is in the stable voltage working state.
10. **Rough voltage adjustment:** used to roughly adjust the voltage value during voltage stabilization, and can cooperate with (11) to adjust the voltage stabilization value.
11. **Voltage fine adjustment:** used to fine adjust the voltage value during voltage stabilization, and can cooperate with (10) to adjust the voltage stabilization value.
12. **Voltage display:** used to display the current voltage value in Volts (V).

The instruction of rear panel

13. Power input socket+fuse: connect with the attached power cord to connect the power. The fuse is located at the lower part of the socket. To replace the fuse, unplug the plug and use a screwdriver to pry out the fuse box for replacement.
14. Heat dissipation fan: used for power supply air cooling.

Operation Instruction

  1. Connect the power cord and turn on the power switch (5). At this time, the C.C. or C.V. indicator light is on, and the LED has a digital display.
  2. Voltage stabilization setting: First, turn the current coarse adjustment (2) and current fine adjustment (3) knobs clockwise to the maximum, then adjust the voltage coarse adjustment (10) and voltage fine adjustment (11) knobs to the required voltage value, connect the load to the negative pole (6) and the positive pole (8) of the output terminal, and it can be used normally. At this time, the power supply is in a constant voltage state, and the C.V. indicator light (9) is on, that is, the voltage is constant, and the current changes with the load. Note: The load current must be within the maximum output current, otherwise it will turn to constant current state, the C.C. indicator light (4) will light up, and the output voltage will decrease.
  3. Current stabilization setting: first adjust the voltage coarse adjustment knob (10) until the voltage output is at any value of 3-5 V, then adjust the current coarse adjustment knob (2) and current fine adjustment knob (3) counterclockwise to the minimum, short-circuit the negative pole (6) of the output terminal and the positive pole (8) of the output terminal with a thick wire, then adjust the current coarse adjustment knob (2) and current fine adjustment knob (3) clockwise to the required current value, and remove the short-circuit wire, and then connect the load to the negative pole (6) and the positive pole (8) of the output terminal of the power supply. At this time, the power supply should work in a steady current state, and the constant current indicator (4) should be on, that is, the current is constant, and the voltage changes with the load.

Note: If the display shows (CC), either your preset current limiting value is too low or your load requires more voltage or current. You need to adjust your current and voltage settings using the above steps.

About CC & CV

The power supply functions as a constant voltage source (CV) as long as the load current is less than the preset current limiting value. If the load current becomes equal to or greater than the preset current limit, the power supply will automatically cross over to the constant current mode and the voltage will drop. (CC) will display on the LED panel indicating the supply is now operating as a constant current source. If the load current drops below the preset current limit, the power supply returns to constant voltage( CV) mode.
