Product Usage Instructions
Attaching the Guide:
- Loosen the thumbscrew (1) and insert the fork (2) of the guide under the neck of the thumbscrew.
- Set the guide (3) alongside or at the center of the foot.
- Tighten the thumbscrew based on the type of guide being attached.
Sewing with the 1/4 inch Seam Guide:
CAUTION: Use only with center needle position straight stitch to avoid
hitting the foot.
Lower the foot and sew while guiding the fabric edge along the guide.
Sewing with the Ditch Quilting Guide:
Place the quilt layers aligning the seam line with the guide. Lower the
foot and sew while guiding the seam line along the guide.
CAUTION: Use only with center needle position straight stitch to avoid
hitting the foot.

A: Yes, this set can be used for piecing. Use the foot alone for 1/8 inch piecing or attach the 1/4 inch seam guide for 1/4 inch piecing. -

Attaching the guide
- Loosen the thumbscrew (1) and insert the fork (2) of the guide under the neck of the thumbscrew.
- Set the guide (3) along side (A) or at the center of (B) the foot.
- Tighten the thumbscrew.

- (B) Ditch quilting guide
The red lines indicate 1/8 inch (1) and 1/4 inch(2) from the center needle position. The oval-shaped needle hale (3) allows adjustment of needle drop position for scant 1/4 inch and metric piecing*.

Available needle drop positions:
- 7 mm width models: 3.5 to 4.5
- 5 mm width models: 2.5 to 3.5
The left hole (4) is a needle release hale. Do not use for sewing.

Place the fabric matching the top edge with the 1/4 inch line (1) and the side edge next to the guide (2)· Lower the foot and sew while guiding the fabric edge along the guide.
CAUTION
Use only with center needle position straight stitch, otherwise the needle hit
the foot.

Place the quilt layers aligning the seam line with the guide (1). Lower the foot and sew while guiding the seam line along the guide.
