• Receptacle Locations:
  • Locally approved flexible service cords or conduits must be used because terminals are not accessible after range installation. Ensure the electrical outlet box is located as shown in the drawing for proper installation.
  • Recommended outlet locations allow the range to be installed directly against the wall.
• Installation Recommendations:
  • Before installing the range, consult the installation instructions for current dimensional data and additional requirements.
  • Maintain a minimum spacing of 6 inches to surfaces less than 15 inches above the cooktop and adjacent cabinet to reduce exposure to steam, grease splatter, and heat.
• Electrical Outlet Area:
  • Install the outlet box on either side of the CL in the recommended acceptable electrical outlet area. Orient the electrical receptacle so the length is parallel to the floor for proper connection.
• Anti-Tip Device:
  • All GE Appliances ranges are equipped with an Anti-Tip device. Ensure to install this device as it is an important and required step in the installation of the range to prevent tipping.
