INSTALLING BATTERIES

Installing batteries in the transmitter:

  1. Open the battery compartment.
  2. Insert batteries, respecting the + and – polarities.
  3. Replace the cover.

Installing the vehicle battery:

  1. Make sure the ON/OFF switch is set to OFF.
  2. Open the battery compartment.
  3. Insert batteries, respecting the + and – polarities.
  4. Replace the cover.

STARTING

  1. Start the car.
  2. To move the car forwards or backwards, push the throttle lever forwards or backwards or press the trigger (depending on the model).
  3. To turn the vehicle left or right, press the steering lever to the left or right. Or, depending on the model, turn the steering wheel or move the 2 levers in opposite directions to turn.
  4. To stop the vehicle, release the throttle lever.
  5. For best performance, always point the antenna towards the car.

TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE

KEEP THIS INSTRUCTION MANUAL AS IT CONTAINS IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR FUTURE REFERENCE.
Due to continuous product improvements, the picture on the manual may differ slightly from the actual product.

  • Make sure the vehicle power is on.
  • Make sure the batteries in transmitter and vehicle have sufficient charge.
  • Check if the batteries in transmitter and vehicle are inserted with correct polarity.
  • Check if the distance between transmitter and vehicle will not exceed more than 25 m.

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

  • Avoid water when operating.
  • Do not submerge car or controller in water.
  • Do not use people or animals as obstacles.
  • Do not run car into furniture objects or hard surfaces as this will cause damage to both the objects and car.
  • Keep fingers, hair and loose clothing away from the tires, gears and motor while car is switched to “ON”.
  • Do not leave car or remote control near sources of heat or under direct sunlight for long periods of time.
  • Remove all batteries when not in use to avoid accidental operation.
  • Adult supervision is recommended when operating car.
  • Thoroughly inspect products before every use. If the product appears worn, frayed/splintered, cracked, or broken in any manner, discontinue use and discard immediately.

Battery Warning:

  • Do not mix old and new batteries.
  • Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc), or rechargeable batteries.
  • Alkaline batteries are recommended. Use only the specified voltage.
  • Insert batteries using the correct polarity. Always use, replace, and recharge (if applicable) batteries under adult supervision.
  • Do not charge with non-rechargeable batteries.
  • Do not short-circuit the battery supply terminals.
  • Do not dispose of batteries in a fire, batteries may explode or leak.
  • Remove batteries before storing.
  • Recycle or dispose of batteries according to federal, state, and local laws.
  • Keep these instructions for future reference.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE

  • Always remove the batteries from the toy if it is not used for a long time.
  • Wipe the toy gently with a clean cloth.
  • Keep the toy away from direct sources of heat.
  • Do not immerse the toy in water, as this could damage electronic components.
  • Replace batteries when they become less powerful.
  • Operation temperature 5 – 35°C.

SAFETY CIRCUIT:
During use, the internal power in the electric circuit can get quite high (for example during a 360 spin). In such a case safety circuit will shut down the vehicle for approximatively 1 minute. Duringthis period the car will not respond to signals from the transmitter. This is not a defect but a safety measure to protect the electronic circuits. After this period, the car will resume normal operation.

DC 3,0 V / 0,5 W ; 2 x 1,5 V “AA” / LR6 / AM3 (not included)
Batteries required for the car:
Power Supply
DC 6,0 V / 9 W ; 4 x 1,5 V “AA” / LR6 / AM3 (not included)
