The following safety precautions should always be followed, to reduce the risk of electric shock, personal injury, or fire. It is important to read all of these instructions carefully before using the product and to save them for future reference or new users.

Before using your appliance for the first time, carefully read these instructions for use and retain them for future reference: the manufacturer shall not accept liability in the event of any use that does not comply with the instructions.

  • Remove and discard all packaging materials and stickers before first use to avoid choking hazards for young children.

  • Dispose of the protective cover fitted on the power plug.

  • Place the appliance on a stable, heat-resistant, clean, and dry worktop.

  • Make sure that the voltage that your appliance uses matches that of your electrical supply system. Any error in connection will negate the guarantee.

  • This appliance is for households only. The blender is intended for food or drink preparation. Do not use it for anything other than food or drinks.

  • Not intended for commercial or industrial purposes.

  • Do not use it in motor vehicles or boats.

  • Do not use the blender outdoors, and do not use it for anything other than its intended use. Misuse can cause injury. This product has been designed for indoor and domestic use only, and at an altitude below 2000m. For any commercial use, inappropriate use, or failure to comply with the instructions, the manufacturer accepts no responsibility, and the guarantee will not apply. It is not intended to be used in the following environments, in which the guarantee shall not apply – Kitchen work areas in shops, offices, and other working environments.

  • In kitchen areas reserved for staff in
    – Shops, offices, and other professional environments.
    – Farmhouses.
    – By clients in hotels, motels, and other residential environments.
    – Bed and breakfast type environments.

  • Continuous supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.

  • Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

  • This appliance can be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance in a safe way and if they understand the hazards involved.

  • Use appliances away from any edge, being a countertop or table.

  • Ensure the working surface is level, clean, and free of water and other substances.

  • It is likely that the device will move during operation.

  • Avoid placing appliances adjacent to a hot gas or electric burner, or where they could touch a heated oven or surface.

  • Do not allow the cord to hang over the edge of a countertop, or to become knotted.

  • Do not immerse or wet the cord, plug, or motor base in water or other liquids.

  • Do not leave the power cord hanging within reach of children.

  • Do not leave the power cord close to or in contact with the hot parts of the appliance, near a source of heat or a sharp angle, or inside the blender jug in contact with the blades.

  • Keep moving parts (blades) away from the cord during use.

  • Never pull the power cord to disconnect the appliance.

  • If any part of the appliance has been wet, ensure that the device is disconnected from the power source and dried with a lint-free cloth.

  • In case of malfunction, switch off and disconnect immediately and request a professional to confirm the suitability of the operation.

  • Do not attempt to operate the device if this has not been professionally confirmed as suitable for operation.

  • Do not attach an external switching device (such as a timer) or connect the blender to a circuit that can regularly switch the blender on and off.

  • Once used, the device should be disconnected and stored in a safe place

  • Do not operate the appliance with a damaged cord or plug, after the appliance malfunctions, or if dropped or damaged in any way. Immediately cease use of the appliance and request examination from a professional. Similarly operate only if the damage has been repaired and qualified by the appropriate professional.

  • Use only the blender jug and lid that are supplied with this blender. The use of additional attachments, not specified by this manual may cause the risk of fire, electrical shock, or injury.

  • Always ensure the blender is assembled properly before using it. The lid must be firmly secured for the jug before the operation to ensure internal contents do not come out, spray or overflow.

  • Never remove the lid or the blender jug before the appliance has come to a complete stop.

  • Always ensure the appliance is properly assembled according to the included instructions before use. Using the appliance without being properly assembled may cause product malfunction, product damage, or pose safety risks including personal injury.

  • If the motor is straining under a heavy load, do not operate continuously for more than 2 minutes.

  • Allow the motor to rest for 2 minutes between uses on heavy loads.

  • Do not leave the blender unattended when in use.

  • When in operation avoid any contact with blades or moving parts.

  • Keep hands, fingers, hair, and clothing away from the table blender during use

  • Always turn the blender off and unplug it from the wall before reaching inside.

  • Attention when handling the blender jug as the blades are very sharp. Be careful when emptying the jug and during cleaning. Mishandling of the blades may cause injury.

  • Do not remove the jug from the motor base while the blender is in use.

  • Do not operate without any ingredients in the blender jug.

  • Never attempt to operate with damaged blades, or with utensils, or any foreign objects inside the blender jug.

  • To reduce the risk of severe injury to persons or damage to the blender, keep hands and utensils out of the jug while blending.

  • Never use the blender jug without ingredients or with solid ingredients only.

  • Always pour the liquid ingredients into the blender jug first, before adding the solid ingredients.

  • Be careful if hot liquid is poured into the blender, as it can be expelled out of the jug due to sudden steaming.

  • When blending hot liquids ensure the top cap is in place. Cap will protect from splashing of hot liquids during blending and includes vents designed to relieve pressure and avoid steam buildup.

  • When blending hot liquids, do not exceed the hot liquids maximum of 1.0L.

  • Do not pour boiling liquids (over 80°C/176°F) into the bowl or jug.

  • To prevent overflow, do not fill the bowl or jug over the maximum level (max 1L).

  • Be careful removing the lid after blending hot liquids, as steam traps can form in the liquid and be ejected out of the jug.

  • Do not put the blender jug in extremes of heat or cold, for example, place a cold jug into hot water, or vice versa.

  • Before moving the table blender, cleaning, or putting it away for storage, always turn the blender off and unplug it from the wall.

  • Always disconnect the appliance from the mains power supply when it is unattended and before assembling, dismantling, or cleaning it.

  • Strictly observe the capacity limit for blending. Failing to follow this instruction may cause personal injury by ejecting.

  • Do not use the mixing bowl or accessories (according to the model) as containers for preservation, freezing, cooking, or sterilization.

  • Remember: you may injure yourself if you use the appliance incorrectly.

  • Never use attachments or accessories that are not supplied with this product. Failing to follow this instruction may cause product malfunction, product damage, or even pose a safety risk.

  • Switch off the appliance and unplug it from the electrical power supply before changing accessories or approaching parts that move in use.

  • See “USE” to obtain the appropriate operating time and speed settings for each accessory.

  • See “USE” for the correct fitting and assembly of your accessories.

  • See “CLEANING” for initial and regular cleaning of surfaces in contact with foodstuff, and for cleaning and maintenance of your appliance.

ELECTRICAL SHOCK HAZARD

  • Plug into a grounded 3-prong outlet.
  • The plug is polarised, meaning it fits only one way, as one blade is wider than the other.
  • If the plug does not fit properly contact an electrical professional.
  • Do not remove the ground prong.
  • Do not use an adapter.
  • Only to be used with appropriate electrical outlet.
  • Use of extension cords may be used if care is exercised in their use.
  • If a longer detachable power-supply cord set or extension cord should be at least as great as the electrical rating of the appliance.
  • The cord should be arranged so that it will not drape over the countertop or tabletop where it can be pulled on by children or tripped over unintentionally.
  • Failure to follow these instructions can result in death, fire, or electrical shock.

BEFORE FIRST USE

  • All parts of the blender are to be thoroughly cleaned before being used for the first time.
  • Connect the device to the mains supply.

USE

  1. Check the switch knob on the ”0” bit pointer position.
  2. Put the cup onto the motor base, and button clockwise.
  3. Place the food you wish to process into the cup.
  4. Put the lid on the cup and close it securely. Place the 30ml/1oz measuring cup into the hole in the lid.
  5. Switch on the motor base.

SPEED SETTING USE

1 (Low) for light usage with liquids
2 (High) for more solid consistency – for mixing liquids and solid food
0 stop operation
P (Pulse setting) short, powerful impulse movements
(The switch does not permanently engage in the “P” setting. You have to hold the switch in the “P” setting or push it repeatedly.)
NOTE: Operate the motor for a maximum of 2 minutes or alternating 2 minutes on, then 2 minutes off to prevent overheating or consequent damage.

CLEANING

  • The appliance is easier to clean if you do so immediately after use.
  • Do not use abrasive cleaning agents, scourers, acetone, alcohol, etc. to clean the appliance.
  1. Switch the appliance off, remove the plug from the wall socket and wait until the blade has stopped running.
  2.  Turn the blender cup to loosen counterclockwise.
  3. Clean these parts with the cleaning brush in warm water with some washing-up liquid and rinse them under the tap.
  4. Clean the motor unit with a damp cloth.

Never immerse the motor unit in water or rinse it under the tap.

STORAGE

If necessary, move it to a position that is out of reach of children and pets.

WARRANTY

  • The manufacturer provides a warranty in accordance with the legislation of the customer’s own country of residence, with a minimum of 1 year, starting from the date on which the appliance is sold to the end user.
  • The warranty only covers defects in material or workmanship.
  • The repairs under warranty may only be carried out by an authorized service center. When making a claim under the warranty, the original bill of purchase (with purchase date) must be submitted.
