Troubleshooting
My Subwoofer does not connect to my network
- Make sure your mobile device is connected to your wireless network before you connect your Subwoofer.
- Alternatively, you can connect your Subwoofer with a separately available Ethernet cable to your network router. Once the connection is established via Ethernet, the HEOS app should recognize the Subwoofer. You can then manually add your wireless network to it. Go to ‘Settings’ > ‘My Devices’ > ‘[Device Name]’ > ‘Advanced’ > ‘Network Settings’.
Connecting to a Network with WPS
- If your router supports WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup), you can optionally connect your Subwoofer to the network using the push-button method by following these steps:
- Press the WPS button on your router.
- Within 2 minutes, press the CONNECT button on the back of the Subwoofer and hold it for 5 seconds.
- The light on the front side of the Subwoofer should blink green for several seconds, and when the connection is established, it will change to a solid blue light.
Resetting Your Subwoofer
To reset your Subwoofer, which retains network settings and name but erases
the current wireless network settings, press and hold the RESET button on the
back of the Subwoofer for 5 seconds until the light on the front begins to
blink yellow. After resetting, you must connect the Subwoofer to the network
again using the HEOS app.
