IMPORTANT SAFETYINTRODUCTION INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING
Read all safety warnings and instructions in the manuals and on the battery pack, charger, and equipment before using this equipment. Failure to follow the warnings and instructions may result in electric shock, fire, property damage and/or serious injury or death.
Hazardous Voltage
1. Use only ProTeam charger 107685 and ProTeam battery packs 107683 and
107684. A charger that is suitable for one type of battery pack may create a
risk of fire when used with another battery pack. Use of any other battery
packs may create a risk of injury and fire.
2. DO NOT use charger to charge non-rechargeable batteries.
3. Hazardous Voltage: Risk of electrocution (high voltage), explosion, fire
and burns. DO NOT open, crush, or electrically short terminals.
4. When charging, make sure that the charger has at least 6 inches of
clearance on all sides. Adequate airflow is required to cool the charger when
in use.
5. DO NOT expose battery charger and battery packs to rain or other liquids,
keep dry. Install battery charger in a safe indoor location. Indoor use only.
6. This charger is double-insulated, eliminating the need for a separate
grounding system. Use only identical replacement parts.
7. DO NOT leave charger plugged in when not in use.
8. DO NOT operate charger if it has received a sharp blow, been dropped, or
damaged in any way.
9. DO NOT use charger if it has a damaged cord or plug. Replace cord
immediately.
10. DO NOT carry charger by cord.
11. DO NOT pull on charger’s cord to unplug. Grasp and pull the plug, not the
cord.
12. DO NOT handle charger, including charger plug and charger terminals, with
wet hands while charger is plugged in or while inserting plug into electrical
outlet.
13. DO NOT use or store the equipment or batteries in wet or moist
conditions, or near flammable or combustible materials.
14. When battery pack is not in use, keep it away from other metal objects,
like paper clips, coins, keys, nails, screws, or other small metal objects
that can make a connection from one terminal to another. Short-circuiting the
battery pack or charger terminals together may cause electric shock, burns, or
a fire.
15. DO NOT use the equipment and battery pack in temperatures above 104°F
(40°C) or below 50°F
(10°C). DO NOT charge the battery pack in temperatures above 104°F (40°C) or
below 50°F (10°C). Follow all charging instructions. Charging at temperatures
outside of the specified range may damage the battery pack and increase the
risk of fire. DO NOT store battery pack in ambient temperatures above 140°F
(60°C) or below 50°F (10°C).
16. DO NOT expose battery packs to temperatures above 122°F (50°C). Never
leave battery packs in automobiles on hot days, where temperatures can be much
higher than outside temperature.
17. DO NOT store the equipment or battery pack for extended periods (1 month
or more) in temperatures above 90°F (32°C) or below 50°F (10°C).
18. DO NOT use an equipment or battery pack that is damaged or modified. DO
NOT crush, drop, incinerate, or damage the battery pack. DO NOT incinerate the
battery pack even if it is non-working or severely damaged. The battery can
explode in a fire. Damaged or modified batteries may exhibit unpredictable
behavior resulting in fire, explosion, or risk of injury.
19. DO NOT attempt to repair, service, or modify the battery pack or charger.
Immediately contact ProTeam Customer Service with any issues.
20. Battery pack and charger are non-serviceable and must be replaced if
damaged.
21. Under abusive conditions, liquid may be ejected from the battery pack;
avoid contact. If contact accidentally occurs, immediately flush with water.
If liquid contacts eyes, additionally seek medical help. Liquid ejected from
the battery pack may cause irritation or burns.
22. DO NOT incinerate or expose a battery pack to fire or excessive
temperature. Exposure to fire or temperature above 265°F may cause explosion.
Keep sparks and flames away from the battery pack.
23. Turn “OFF” the equipment’s power switch and then make sure the battery
pack is removed before performing maintenance or servicing the equipment.
Unexpected actuation of the power switch while clearing jammed material,
making adjustments, storing, changing accessories, performing maintenance or
servicing the equipment may result in serious personal injury.
SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS
Violation of any of these instructions may void any and all warranties.
Observe the following warning that appears on the battery charger:
Double insulated – Grounding not required. When servicing use only identical
replacement parts.
To reduce the risk of electric shock, this Charger has a Polarized Plug (one blade is wider than the other). This Plug will fit in a Polarized Outlet only one way. If the Plug does not fit fully in the Outlet, reverse the Plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician to install the proper Outlet. Do not change the Plug in any way.
WARNING: This battery charger is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the battery charger by a person responsible for their safety. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the battery charger.
SERVICING OF DOUBLE-INSULATED BATTERY CHARGER
WARNING
In a double-insulated battery charger, two systems of insulation are provided
instead of grounding. No grounding means is provided on a double-insulated
appliance, nor should a means for grounding be added. Servicing a double-
insulated battery charger requires extreme care and knowledge of the system,
and should be done only by qualified service personnel. Replacement parts of a
double-insulated battery charger must be identical to the parts they replace.
Your double-insulated battery charger is marked with the words “DOUBLE
INSULATED” and the symbol (square with a square) may also be marked on the
appliance.
To reduce the risk of injury from electrical shock, unplug power cord before
servicing the electrical parts of the battery charger.
WARNING: To reduce the risk of injury from electrical shock, unplug power cord before servicing the electrical parts of the battery charger

OPERATION
This battery charger is intended to recharge ProTeam Lithium Ion batteries 107683 and 107684.
WARNING:
Charge in a well-ventilated area. DO NOT block charger vents.
Keep them clear to allow proper ventilation.
CHARGING PROTEAM LITHIUM ION BATTERY PACKS
Lithium Ion batteries deliver fade-free power for their entire run time. The equipment will perform at its normal performance level until the battery pack has been depleted. Once this happens, recharging of the battery pack is required. It is not necessary to drain the battery pack completely before recharging.
GoFit Lithium Ion battery packs operate over a narrow voltage range which allows the equipment to deliver a high level of performance throughout its entire run time. When the voltage drops to the specified lower limit, the battery pack will stop operating and will need to be recharged.
If none of the charger LEDs are lit at any point during the charging process, remove the battery pack from the charger to avoid damaging the product. DO NOT insert another battery pack. Contact ProTeam Customer Service with any issues.
BATTERY PACK PROTECTION FEATURES
ProTeam 60V Lithium Ion battery packs are designed with features that protect the Lithium Ion cells and maximize life of battery pack. When the battery pack has reached its minimum voltage level the electronics inside the equipment will shut off the motor. Once the motor shuts off, the battery pack must be recharged.
Note: Prior to charging, the battery pack may be in Temperature Error mode for approximately an additional hour to allow the battery temperature to settle within the acceptable charging temperature range.
PREPARING BATTERY PACK FOR CHARGING
1. Plug the charger’s power cord into the charger (Figure A).
2. Plug the charger’s power cord into 120V wall outlet (Figure B).
3. Install battery pack on charger as shown
(Figure C).
4. The Charger indicator light will turn on solid red (standby) after
inserting the battery. When charge cycle begins the indicator will change from
solid red to flashing green. When Charger indicator light changes from
flashing green to solid green, battery is 100% charged.
5. If the charger indicator light flashes red, remove the battery pack and
then reinstall it. If it still flashes red, contact ProTeam Customer Service
for further instructions.
6. If the charger indicator light flashes amber, there is a temperature-
related error. Please let the battery pack rest at room temperature for at
least 1 hour. The charger indicator light will turn flashing green, fan will
turn on, and the battery pack will begin charging once the battery temperature
settles within the acceptable charging temperature range.
CHARGER INDICATOR KEY
- Amber Flashing: Temperature Error
- Green Flashing Slow: Charging < 85%
- Green Flashing Fast: Charging ≥ 85%
- Green Steady (Solid): 100% Charged
- Red Steady (Solid): Standby

*Battery pack may get warm while charging.
Note: Charger Indicator does not illuminate until after battery is inserted.
BATTERY PACK FUEL GAUGE
The battery fuel gauge indicates the approximate runtime remaining on the battery pack. When the indicator button is pressed, one to four charger indicators will light up, indicating the approximate battery charge remaining (Figure F) as follows:
4 Lights: 80% – 100%
3 Lights: 60% – 80%
2 Lights: 40% – 60%
1 Light: 20% – 40%

MAINTENANCE
GENERAL MAINTENANCE
Avoid using solvents when cleaning plastic parts. Most plastics are susceptible to damage from various types of commercial solvents and may be damaged by their use. Use clean cloths to remove dirt, dust, oil, grease, etc.
BATTERY PACKS
Battery packs for this product have been designed to provide maximum, trouble- free life. However, like all batteries, they will eventually wear out. DO NOT disassemble battery pack and attempt to replace the battery cells. Handling of these cells, especially when wearing rings and jewelry, could result in a serious burn.
To obtain the longest possible battery pack life:
- Remove the battery pack from the charger once it is fully charged and ready for use.
- Store the battery pack in a cool, dry location.
- It is normal for Lithium Ion battery packs to lose charge during long periods of non-use. They should be charged at least every 3 months to maintain the battery pack life.
BATTERY PACK REMOVAL AND PREPARATION FOR RECYCLING
Recycling your old batteries is easy with the Call2Recycle program. Call2Recycle is a product stewardship program providing battery and cellphone recycling solutions across the U.S. and Canada.
For more information about the Call2Recycle program, or for more information about a local collection site visit www.call2recycle.org/locator or call the Call2Recycle toll free number 1-800-822-8837.
WARNING:
Before recycling, cover the battery pack’s terminals with heavy duty adhesive
tape. DO NOT attempt to destroy or disassemble battery pack or remove any of
its components.
Lithium Ion battery packs must be recycled or disposed of properly. Never
touch terminals with metal objects, as a short circuit can occur. Keep away
from children. Failure to comply with these warnings could result in fire
and/or serious injury.
