Initial use
Note
Before using the massage roll for the first time, charge it first for a minimum of 2 ½ hours.
Proceed as follows:
- Connect the supplied USB charging cable to the massage roll. The connection for the USB charging cable is located on the side of the massage roll.
- Then plug the USB charging cable into a PC or, using a USB adapter, into a suitable socket.
- Whilst charging, the LEDs flash from left to right. As soon as the massage roll is fully charged, all three LEDs are permanently illuminated.
- When fully charged, the battery will last for approx. two hours of operation at a low-intensity level or for one hour of operation at a high-intensity level.
- You cannot use the massage roll during the charging process. If the battery is dead, the LEDs flash at the relevant set intensity level.
Usage
Notes on use Note
- The massage should feel pleasant and relaxing at all times. If the massage is painful or uncomfortable, stop the massage or change your position or the contact pressure.
- A slight hematoma may well occur – this is a positive therapeutic effect as the use of the massage roll can selectively encourage your blood flow. In isolated cases, areas of redness may also occur on the skin.
- If you experience excessive skin irritation, stop using the device and consult a doctor.
- We recommend treating each area (lower body, mid-body, and upper body) three times a week for 15 minutes each time. When carrying out a session, we recommend training all three areas.
- However, you may also choose to focus on one of the above areas. Carry out treatment consciously and slowly.
Switching on/selecting the intensity level Note
The massage roll has an automatic switch-off function. This means that the massage roll automatically switches off after a period of use of 15 minutes.
- Briefly press the ON/OFF button to switch on the massage roll. The LED display starts to light up and the massage roll starts to vibrate at the lowest intensity level.
- The massage roll has a total of three intensity levels (low, medium, and high) and a massage mode (intermittent). To switch between the four settings, briefly press the ON/OFF button. Select one of the four settings depending on your personal preferences. The massage roll switches off again if you press the ON/OFF button again in the fourth setting. You can also switch off the massage roll directly during usage by pressing and holding the ON/OFF button for 2 seconds. The LED display goes out and the vibration stops.
Examples of use:
Calf
- Sit on the floor and place one leg on the massage roll so that it is positioned on the bottom half of the calf. Support yourself with your hands while leaning back and lifting your hips.
- Tense your stomach and bottom muscles and shift your lower body forwards and backward. The calf muscles are stimulated.
Thigh/bottom
- Lie on your side on the floor and stretch both legs straight out. Bend one arm and support yourself on the floor with your elbow while keeping your other arm relaxed by your side.
- Place the massage roll under your hips. Now roll over the massage roll with slow movements. Vary the exercise by supporting yourself with both arms while leaning back; then roll your bottom over the massage roll with gentle pressing movements.
Thigh
- Sit upright on the floor or on a chair and hold the massage roll by the two outer parts and now roll it over your thigh slowly and using some pressure. The center, flexible element of the roll should now massage your thigh muscle.
Arm/shoulder
- Lean against a wall while standing up, with your side facing the wall. Place the massage roll between your upper arm and the wall. Now apply gentle pressure on the massage roll and move up and down with your legs so that the massage roll rolls slowly along your arm. Increase the distance between your legs and the wall to increase the pressure on the massage roll. Now slowly turn your back to the wall so that the massage roll moves along your shoulder area and the muscles in your shoulders are stimulated.
Back
- WARNING Do not move the massage roll directly over the bone.
- Lie on your back. Place the massage roll to the right or left of the spine between your back and the floor. Bend your legs.
- Now move slowly up and down and roll the massage roll over your back.
