Installing a thermostat
Installing a thermostat dial spring increases thermostat dial stability. Before installing the dial spring, ensure the gas valve and thermostat dial are OFF.
To install the dial spring:
- Ensure the fryer is OFF. Remove the thermostat dial from the thermostat shaft. Remove the top slotted screw securing the thermostat to the mounting plate (arrow).
- Install the spring over the thermostat shaft as shown (arrow). Install the counter-sink screw included with the spring. Tighten the screw, ensuring the spring is positioned as illustrated (arrow).
- Replace the thermostat dial. Return the fryer to operation.
