How To Use & Setup Guide
- Ensure the device is plugged in and charging using the provided USB-C Cable
- Charge the device for 10-15 minutes. Ensure the red light is showing on the case as this means the device is currently charging.
- When you remove your device, from charging, you will see a white light appear. This will tell you that the Ambie has been charged and is ready for pairing.
- Remove the earbuds from the casing and you will see a white flashing light on the top. If this is not present, click and hold the power button to turn on (indicated by the red in the diagram below).
- When the earbuds are flashing white, set up your Bluetooth connection against TL18. When connected, you will hear ‘Connected’ in the earbuds. Now you are good to enjoy shower tunes!
- By single clicking the top of The earbud, the music will Play or pause remotely. A Double click will increase/ Decrease the music volume. When finished, click and hold The button for 3-5 seconds and The device will turn off.
Troubleshooting Steps
Use these steps if there are any issues encountered in the setup guide above. The number listed on the left is the step at which the issue is likely to occur e.g 1. Means the issue is likely to happen at step 1 of the setup guide.

The Ambie casing does not show up red when charging
• Ensure the USB-C cable is fully plugged in. Take it out and press it in again, ensuring the cable is pushed all the way in.
• Perhaps the USB cable provided has an issue, try with another cable and check if it lights up red.
• The charging outlet may have an issue. Try the cable with a different outlet/plug/power source/adapter head. -
The Ambie casing has no white light after charging
• The case may not have charged, go back to step 1 troubleshooting and ensure all steps are followed.
• The earbuds are not inside the case. Place the earbuds back inside the case fully and close the lid, ensure there is now a light being shown.
• Turn the earbuds on and place them inside the case with the lid shut. -
The Earbuds have no flashing lights on them
• Go back to step 1 and ensure the case is charged. If the case is charged, remove the earbuds from the case and hold the power button for 3-5 seconds to turn on.
• Place the earbuds back in the case, you will need to ensure they are sitting properly and are connected to the prongs. It is likely the earbuds have become dislodged and are not charging inside the case. -
I do not see TL18 to pair?
• Check your mobile device to ‘Pair a new connection’. TL18 will not show in the main Bluetooth menu if you have never connected to it before. Under the new pairing, youwill need to pair the device. Once paired, you can then click to ‘connect’
• Your earbuds are not charged or turned on. Hold the power button for 3-5 seconds to turn on, they will tell you ‘power on’. Once turned on, check again and connect the device Bluetooth.
Other FAQs
How do I know my device is turned on or off?
Ambie will tell you ‘Power On’ or ‘Power Off’ with its smart voice capability. You must hold the power button for 3-5 seconds for it to tell you this.
How do I know my device is connected?
Same as above, it will tell you ‘Connected’ when the device has successfully connected to your device via Bluetooth.
What is the connection name?
TL18 is the Bluetooth connection name for the Ambie Earbuds.
I only hear music through one earbud?
Click and hold the power button for the one earbud that you do not hear sound with. If there is still no sound, place it back in the earbud case with the prongs clicked in place and recharge it.
I cannot get it to fit my ear?
I cannot hear the sound well?
