Product Information – QFL5587BN and QFL5587MBK

The QFL5587BN and QFL5587MBK are fixtures designed for indoor use. The package contents include a fixture body, mounting hardware, a glass shade, a glass screw bar, a crossbar assembly, mounting screws, wire connectors, and outlet box screws. The recommended bulb type for this fixture is a maximum of 100W with a medium (E26) base type and Type A bulb. The fixture is designed to be wiped clean using a soft, dry cloth or static duster. It is important to avoid using harsh chemicals and abrasives to clean the fixture as they may damage the finish.

Product Usage Instructions

1. Before beginning installation, turn off electricity at the circuit breaker box or the main fuse box to avoid the risk of electric shock.
2. Read the entire manual before attempting to assemble, install or operate the product to ensure proper usage.
3. If in doubt about electrical installation, consult a licensed electrician.
4. Install the crossbar assembly provided in the package contents.
5. Install the fixture body onto the crossbar assembly.
6. Wire the fixture by connecting the white wire from the supply to the white wire from the fixture, connecting the black (or red) wire from the supply to the black wire from the fixture, and connecting the ground wire from the supply to the green ground screw on the fixture.
7. Turn off electricity to the fixture before replacing the bulb(s).
8. Install the glass shade and bulb by referring to the fixture markings and/or labels for maximum wattage.
9. Restore electricity and save this sheet for future reference.
