FOR OPTIMAL USE

PREPARING TO CHARGE

a. If necessary to remove battery from vehicle to charge, always remove grounded terminal from battery first. Make sure all accessories in the vehicle are off, so as not to cause an arc.
b. Be sure area around battery is well ventilated while battery is being charged.
C. Clean battery terminals. Be careful to keep corrosion from coming in contact with eyes.
d. Add distilled water in each cell until battery acid reaches level specified by battery manufacturer. Do not overfill.
e. Study all battery manufacturers’ specific precautions such as removing or not removing cell caps while charging and recommended rates of charge.
f. Determine voltage of battery by referring to vehicle owner’s manual and make sure it matches output rating of the battery Charger.

DC CONNECTION PRECAUTIONS

  1. Follow these steps when battery is installed in a vehicle.
    a. Connect and disconnect DC output clips only after setting the charger switches to off position and removing AC cord from the electric outlet.
    b. Position AC and DC cords to reduce risk of damage by hood, door or any moving engine part.
    c. Stay clear of fan blades, belts, pelts, and other parts that can cause injury to persons.
    d. Check polarity of battery posts. POSITIVE(POS, P, +) battery post may have a larger diameter than a NEGATIVE(NEG,N,-) post
    e. Determine which post of battery is grounded (connected) to the chassis. If negative post is grounded to the chassis (as in most vehicles),see item(e).lf Positive Post is grounded to the chassis, see item(f).
    f. For a negative-grounded vehicle, connect the POSITIVE (red) clip from the battery charger to the POSITIVE(POS, P, +) post of battery first. Connect the NEGATIVE (black) clip to vehicle chassis or engine block away from battery. Do not connect the Clip to carburetor, fuel lines, or sheet-metal body parts.
Connect to a heavy gauge metal Part of the frame or engine block.
    g. When disconnecting charger, disconnect AC cord? remove clip from vehicle chassis, and then remove clip from battery terminal.
    h. For a positive grounded vehicle, connect the NEGATIVE (black) clip from the battery charger to NEGATIVE(NEG,N,-) post of battery. Connect the POSITIVE (red)clip from the battery charger to vehicle chassis or engine block away from battery. Do not connect clip to carburetor, fuel lines, or sheet- metal body parts. Connect to a heavy gauge metal part of the frame or engine block.

  2. Follow these steps when battery is outside the vehicle.
    a. Check 11olarity of battery posts. A POSITIVE(POS, P, +) battery post usually has larger diameter than a NEGATIVE (NEG,N1 -) post.
    b. Attach at least a L 8m long P. 75mm insulated battery output ca Ille of charger to the NEGATIVE(NEG1N1 ) battery post.
    C. Con sect the POSITIVE(red) clip from the battery charger to the POSITIVE(POS, P, +) post of Battery.
    d. Position yourself and the free end of cable as far away from battery as possible, then connect NEGATIVE(black) clip to free end of cable.
    e. Do not face battery when making final connection.
    f. When disconnecting charger, always do so in sequence of connecting procedure and break first connection while as far away from battery as practical.
    g. A marine(boat)battery must be removed and charged on shore. To charge it on boat requires equipment specially designed for marine use.

0-RINGS ADAPTER PRECAUTIONS

  1. O-rings adapter must be used in conjunction with the charger. Accessory wires used for other purposes may cause fire or short circuit.
  2. Ensure the terminal is in good contact with the battery or charger, and the insulation cover is not detached or damaged.
  3. Ensure the ring connectors is in good condition (no damage or bare copper and other issues) before use.
  4. The fittings and wires are easily to aging, do not touch any chemical liquids, and check the insulation of the wire regularly, if they are aging, please replace them timely.
  5. Do not leave the ring adapter connected to battery if it is not used, or it may cause fire or short circuit when using the battery in your vehicles.
