Specified Ver: It was first planned to be used to switch the product UI to other specified UI of the same product, but it does not work for now. (Planned to work for U2W series products)
Check Update: Check for new versions of the product currently available for update
Rollback: Click to downgrade the product’s firmware to the previous stable version If the upgrade has problems that did not exist before, you can try to downgrade the solution
Settings
Sync Mode : In some cars that support dashboard CarPlay media information display, if the media information cannot be displayed normally after using the product, you can switch the synchronization mode to try, and you can also switch the synchronization mode to try on models that do not recognize the product, and the product will take effect only after switching when it is unplugged.
Background: The UI of the product is not displayed by default, try to turn on this option when the screen shows a black screen after some cars are connected to the phone.
Car model: Modify the initial setting of the vehicle model
Auto Connect: Option to turn on/off the automatic connection of the product to the phone
Category: After connecting the product to play music and other media, the Automotive Head Unit will become jerky and noisy, you can switch the media sound quality to try, after switching the product needs to be re-plugged to take  effect
Call Quality: After connecting the product call sound compared to the direct connection carplay when the call noise or other call sound abnormal phenomenon, you can try to switch the call sound quality option to HD or standard try.  (Only effective on products with carplay conversion function)
Knob Mode: You can switch between normal and all-select mode Normal mode: is the regular mode at this time the knob can not select the Android auto interface at the bottom of the navigation bar options, all-select mode: is the knob  in the entire Android auto interface can be selected, some Automotive Head Unit may not support the second mode, easy to cause no touch. (This function is only useful on products that support Android auto function, A2A products this  does not work) Video Resolution: Setting screen resolution information
Media Delay: The frame rate of the synchronized screen refresh of the product connected to the cell phone, after the connection of the screen delay more can set this (please set the frame rate to 20 if the screen is obviously delayed) DPI:   Adjust the size of function icons displayed in Android auto interface. (Only works on products that support Android auto function, it does not work on the interface of A2A products)

Video Bit Rate:

  • Modify the video bit rate for cell phone mapping
  • The smaller the set bitrate, the smoother the video will be
  • When the video freezes and delays, it is recommended to set the bit rate below 8Mbps.
  • Set the bit rate to 8Mbps or less; the larger the bit rate setting, the more stable the video image will be.
  • The larger the setting, the more stable the video image will be. You can try
  • Set the bitrate to 8Mbps or more to improve

Start Delay: Set the time to delay the communication with the original car after the product is powered on, and try to adjust this parameter appropriately when there is a situation where you need to unplug the product after getting into  the car in order to recognize it.
GPS: Set whether to use the car’s GPS or not, try setting this option when there is a problem of drifting navigation position after connecting to the phone. Device Language: Only for setting the text language displayed in the product connection interface, the text language displayed in the interface is the same as the cell phone after connecting to the cell phone
WiFi Band: Set 2.4GHz/5GHz, which can solve the situation that some cell phones can’t search the product WiFi
Car Logo: Modify the car logo image in carplay or Android Auto interface, support custom car logo
Modify WiFi Name: Change WiFi and Bluetooth names
Modify Device Name: Change the name of the product displayed in the Automotive Head Unitcarplay device list
Reset: Restore the product to the state of just upgrading this version, and delete all the connection records of the product, the current software version of the product will not change when restoring the factory settings

Brand: The car brand you filled in when you first entered the backend of the website
Model: The model of the vehicle you filled in when you first entered the backend of the website

Box information
Bluetooth name: show the name of the Bluetooth signal after the box is recognized normally

Basic Information Page
Device management: This page is to manage the cell phone records connected to the current box, you can delete a certain record or delete all of them, tap the “x” behind the cell phone records to delete the selected records.
Equipment Management
Auto-connect: the option to turn on/off the box to connect to the phone automatically
Media delay: adjust the delay time of media sound, the default 1000 ms, adjust the useful range of 300-2000 ms, the greater the delay the less likely to lag, the smaller the music and the more synchronized with the image, this setting is  related to the car network environment, please adjust the appropriate according to the actual situation, no abnormal situation is not recommended to adjust.
Bluetooth: modify the name of the Bluetooth signal issued by the box after normal recognition
WiFi: modify the name of WiFi signal issued by the box after normal recognition
Language: set the language type of the font displayed in the box interface (the one after the car recognizes the box), not the language of the functional interface, the language of the functional interface is related to the cell phone.
Car brand: Modify the brand of the car model set for the first time
Car model: Modify the initial setting of the vehicle model
Car years: Modify the year of the vehicle you set for the first time

Backstage mode: the default does not show the box UI, in some cars connected to the phone after the screen shows a black screen, you can turn on this option to try. (This setting item is not yet in effect, please wait for the subsequent  version of the notice)

Q1:What should I do if there is no response when the box is plugged into the car?

  1. Check if it is plugged into the correct USB port, is it plugged in tightly?
  2. Whether it comes with wired CarPlay (check whether the car is equipped with original wired CarPlay),
  3. Connect the box WIFI to enter the background and click to restore the factory settings. The mobile phone ignores the original car Bluetooth. If it is not recognized, click the basic settings in the background-problem feedback (take a  screenshot of the feedback content, click upload, and send the screenshot to us)

Q2:How to enter the product setting background?
Step 1: Insert the product into the vehicle navigation machine, and the iPhone searches and connects to the product box’s WiFi signal. wifi password: 12345678
Step 2: Enter 192.168.50.2 in iPhone “Safari” browser and enter the the “Setting” interface.

Q13: Connecting…Unable to access wireless CarPlay

A:

  1. Please make sure that the iPhone has turned on Bluetooth, WiFi, Siri, CarPlay, and that the iPhone is connected to the CarlinKit product Bluetooth.
  2. restart the iPhone, re-unplug the product.
  3. iPhone connected to the product WiFi, Safari access 192.168.50.2, reset the product and then reconnect.
  4. car screen, product connection interface, long press the phone name to delete all connection records; iPhone Bluetooth list to delete the product connection records.
  5. iPhone – Settings – General – CarPlay, delete all connection records

Q14:5G frequency interference, connection anomalies (e.g. near airports)
Product support 5G and 2.4Ghz frequency connections,5G frequency connections for some users, which can be subject to interference, such as near airports You can try to set the 5Ghz frequency to 2.4Ghz.

Q15:Car doesn’t recognize the product

  1. Check whether the product signal light will be on and whether it is connected to the wired CarPlay interface of the car
  2. Login to 192.168.50.2, check the version update, not the latest update to the latest
  3. Automotive Head Unit to restore factory settings; cell phone browser into 192.168.50.2 settings to reset the product
  4. Replace a data cable

Q18 : Can’t automatically connect to Carplay

  1. keep the phone WiFi and Bluetooth on state, Bluetooth is not occupied by other devices / connected
  2. 192.168.50.2, upgrade the firmware to the latest version

Text version

  1. prepare a 32G or less USB flash drive
  2. first format the U disk to FAT32
  3. put the firmware into the U disk (U disk can only have a file “U2AW_AUTOKIT_Update.img”)
  4. find a plug to power up the product, and then plug the U disk into the box USB port to upgrade
  5. upgrade when there are red and green lights flashing, do not power off, wait until only the red light is on, and then wait 3 minutes to unplug.
