Foxwell OS200 Automotive Oscilloscope
Overview
General Inspection
Please check the package status when receive the goods:

Check Transport Damage
If you find serious damage to the packing box or foam plastic, please keep them until the equipment passes electrical and mechanical performance tests. -
Check The Accessory
A packing list is included in the box. Please check if the accessories are complete. If accessories are missing or damaged, please contact the seller. -
Check The Instrument
If the appearance of the oscilloscope is damaged or fails to pass the performance test, please contact the seller or FOXWELL.
Power On
- Please make sure the power lock is switched left to “ON”.
- If you need to go out, after the oscilloscope is turned off, please switch the lock to “OFF”, and make sure the oscilloscope will not turn on accidentally.
Note:
Please use the FOXWELL standard power adapter to charge the oscilloscope.
Connections
- Piercing probes and alligator clips are the most commonly used accessories in automotive diagnosis.
- Connect the BNC end of the BNC to the banana cable to the oscilloscope, connect the red banana tip to the piercing probe, and connect the black banana tip to the alligator clip.
- Insert the piercing probe into the signal wire, and clamp the crocodile clip to the Ground end.
Probe Compensation
The calibration signal port is on the side of the oscilloscope, connect the signal output with the probe hook, and connect the Ground end with the alligator clip. Use the AUTO function on an oscilloscope to check if the waveform is a standard square wave.
The edges of the square waveform will exhibit overshoot or undershoot when excessive/insufficient compensation is applied, respectively. The various waveforms involved are shown below.
Use the trimmer to adjust the waveform.
Possible Abnormal:
- Possibly caused by the probe hook cap being loose, need to push the cap back to normal
- Low visibility: adjust waveform brightness on the oscilloscope: Drop-down menu => Display => Waveform
