IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
To reduce the risk of personal injury or damage to property, basic important
safety instructions must be observed including the following:

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
- This electric blanket is intended to be used as an over blanket, it is to be on top of the individual and not under them, or it should be placed above a top sheet on top of the person and not under them on a mattress.
- Do not tuck it in around or under the person. It should remain loose so as not to prohibit the user’s movement.
USING THE ELECTRIC BLANKET
Connect the controller to the blanket, simply hold the socket with one hand, and push the controller plug until the locking tab is located over the plug on top of the controller plug.
- Ensure there is a mains supply nearby and that when in use, the mains lead will not be in a position that could cause a tripping hazard.

FOR CONTROLLER
- Please set at “H” high temperature to preheat for 30-60 minutes before using.
- Select the desired temperature position.
If using it during sleep or for long periods, please set it at “L” low- temperature position or “1” temperature position, to avoid overheating which may cause discomfort. The starting-up state is the standby state. The digital display of temperature position is “0” and the digital display of timing position is “0”
- a. Press the “Temp” button, the digital display of temperature position is “7” and the digital display of timing position is “9”.
- b. Press the “Temp” button, and the digital display of temperature position circulates from “L.1.2.3.4.5.6.7”.L being low, and 7 being high.
- c. Press the “Time” button, and the digital display of the timing position circulates from “1.2.3.4.5.6.7.8.9”. 1 is for 1 hour, 9 is for 9 hours.
- d. Press the “High” button, the high-temperature position is preheating, which is displayed as “H”. The high-temperature position will automatically change to “L” low-temperature position after 1 hour.
CONNECTING ANO REMOVING THE CONTROLLER
WARNING: DO NOT leave the remote control underneath the blanket, wrapped
in the blanket, or on the blanket while it is turned on.
- Your electric blanket is fitted with overheating protection. If your controller gets too hot, the electric blanket will turn off and the remote will display ‘C’. Turn the remote control off. Place the remote so that no part of it touches the blanket and wait for it to cool down. When the blanket and remote control have cooled down you can turn the product back on again.
- If you leave your blanket at any point while it is turned on, please leave it completely open on a flat surface.
CAUTION: Do not leave your blanket folded or crumpled, whilst it is turned on.
To remove the controller, lift the locking tab up with your finger and pull the plug directly out. Do not pull the controller cable and do not try to pull the controller plug out without lifting the locking tab as you will damage the socket. To connect the controller lift the locking tab up with your finger and pull the plug directly in.
AFTER USE
When the blanket is not in use, please switch the controller to the off
position; and remove the plug from the power socket. If the blanket is not to
be used for a long period, store the blanket in a cool and dry place.
CLEANING & MAINTAINANCE
When not in use and before cleaning the blanket, disconnect it from the mains.
Disconnect the controller from the blanket.

Do not immerse the controller/s in water or get them wet.

Clean the surface of the cord with neutral detergent if the cord is dirty and wipe it dry with soft cloth.

Do not dry clean this blanket as it could damage the heating elements.

Do not use industrial solvents such as benzene, kerosene or similar solvents to clean it.

To clean the blanket, hand wipe it down with a soft damp cloth with very mild detergent, mildly process at a maximum washing temperature of 30°C. Allow it to dry thoroughly before using or storing it. When washed, drape it over a clothesline to dry. Do not use clothes pegs to secure it.

Machine washing of the blanket is possible; however, hand wiping it down will prolong the life of the blanket. To machine wash, remove the controller/s place the blanket in a net bag, and seal it. Use a small amount of detergent and set the washing machine to a “Delicate Wash” with a maximum temperature of 30°C. When washed, remove the blanket from the net bag and drape it over clothes line to dry. Do not use; clothes
pegs to secure it. -
Do not wring out the blanket.

STORAGE
