IMPORTANT NOTICES

When using an electrical appliance, basic safety precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and/or injury, including the following:

  1. Read all instructions before using.
  2. Remove all packing material and carefully check your ice maker to ensure it is in good condition and that there is no damage to the ice maker or power cord and plug.
  3. Before using the Ice maker for the first time, please wait 2 hours after positioning it, and keep the transparent lid open for at least 2 hours.
  4. Pure water is not allowed to be used on this unit, Mineral water is recommended.
  5. Do not put liquids with impurities/colors such as juice, coffee, tea, etc., to avoid clogging and bacterial growth inside the machine, which will be difficult to clean.
  6. Ensure the voltage is compliant with the voltage range stated on the rating label, and ensure the earthing of the socket is in good condition.
  7. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its service agent or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.
  8. Do not upend this product or incline it over a 45℃ angle.
  9. To protect against risk of electric shock, do not pour water on cord, plug and ventilation, immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid.
  10. Unplug the appliance after using or before cleaning.
  11. The machine should be on a level surface. To ensure sufficient ventilation, the distance of the back of ice maker to the wall should be at least 150 mm, it should be away from the Direct sunlight oven, radiator, flames, stoves or other heat source.
  12. Do not use the accessories which are not recommended by Manufacturer.
  13. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
  14. Do not switch on the power button frequently (ensure 5min. interval at least) to avoid the damage of compressor.
  15. Metal sheet or other electric objects are not allowed to be inserted into the appliance to avoid fire and short circuit.
  16. Never clean with scouring powders or hard implements.
  17. Due to fast freezing, ice cubes may opaque. This is air trapped in the water and will not affect quality or taste of ice.
  18. This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications such as
    • staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working environments;
    • farm houses and by clients in hotels, motels and other residential-type environments;
    • bed and breakfast type environments;
    • catering and similar non-retail applications

WARNING

  1. During transportation, do not tilt the machine more than 45 degrees, do not reverse the machine. This may damage the compressor and the sealing system.
  2. It is normal for the compressor and condenser surface to reach temperatures between 70°C and 90°C during operation and surrounding areas may be very hot.
  3. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
  4. Do not immerse in water.
  5. Do not store explosive substances such as aerosol cans with a flammable propellant in this appliance.
  6. When positioning the appliance, ensure the supply cord is not trapped or damaged.
  7. Do not locate multiple portable socket-outlets or portable power supplies at the rear of the appliance.
  8. The refrigerant and insulation blowing gas is flammable, when disposing of the appliance, do so only at an authorized waste disposal center. Do not expose to flame.

CONTROL PANEL OPERATION

OPERATION BUTTON DESCRIPTION

  1. STANDBY MODE
    Plug in power, the machine will enter the standby mode, the “power indicator light” is always on, the “large ice indicator light” is flashing, and the “digital screen” is always on.

  2. SLEEP MODE
    In standby mode, after 30 seconds of no operation, the “digital screen” goes out and goes into sleep mode. Only the “power indicator light” is always on.
    When the machine is in sleep mode, press any button to cancel sleep mode and enter standby mode.

  3. START/PAUSE BUTTON
    In standby mode, after selecting large ice, small ice or cleaning function, press “START/PAUSE” button to start immediately and enter the working state of corresponding function. In any working state, press the “START/PAUSE” button once to stop the machine and enter the standby state.

  4. SMALL ICE FUNCTION
    When the machine is in standby mode, press the “small ice” button and the “small ice indicator light” flashes. Then press the “START/PAUSE” button and the machine will start to make ice automatically. After the ice making is completed, the machine will deice and then enter the function of ice shoveling. In small ice mode, the “power indicator” and the “small ice indicator light” always being on, and the “digital screen” is used for time accumulation to display the total ice making time.

  5. LARGE ICE FUNCTION
    When the machine is in standby mode, press the “large ice” button and the “large ice indicator light” flashes, and then press the “START/PAUSE” button to start the ice making automatically. After the ice making is completed, the machine will deice, and then enter the function of ice shoveling. In large ice mode, the “power indicator light” and the “large ice indicator light” always being on, and the “digital screen” is used for time accumulation to display the total ice making time.

  6. CLEANING FUNCTION
    When the machine is in standby mode, press the “cleaning” button and the “cleaning indicator light” will flash. Then press the “START/PAUSE” button and the machine will start to clean automatically. In the working state of cleaning mode, the “power indicator light” and the “cleaning indicator light” always being on, and the “digital screen” displays the countdown of 00:05. When the countdown reaches to 00:00, the cleaning is finished, then take off the Water Drain Plug (under the water tank) to release the water inside.

  7. PRESET FUNCTION
    When the machine is in standby mode, press the “preset” button, the “preset indicator light” flashes, the “digital screen” displays the preset time. Press the “increase” button or “decrease” button to modify the preset time, then press the “large ice” button or “small ice” button to select the large ice or small ice function, and press the “START/PAUSE” button finally to enter the preset mode. The “power indicator light” and “preset indicator light” always being on, “large ice indicator light” or “small ice indicator light” is flashing, “digital screen” shows the countdown of preset. When the countdown reaches to 00:00, the machine starts to make ice. The “preset indicator light” is off, the “large ice indicator light” or “small ice indicator light” is always on. The “power indicator light” is always on, and the “digital screen” is used for time accumulation to display the total ice making time.

  8. TIMER
    When the machine is in standby mode, press the “timer” button, “timing indicator light” flashes, “digital screen” displays the time to be timed, press the “increase” button or “decrease” button to modify the control time. Then, press the “large ice” button, “small ice” button or “cleaning” button to select large ice, small ice or cleaning function, and press the “START/PAUSE” button finally. The machine enters the timer mode and then begins to make ice or clean. The “power indicator light” always being on, the “timing indicator light” always being on, the “large ice indicator light”, “small ice indicator light” or “cleaning indicator light” is always on, “digital screen” displays timing countdown. When the countdown reaches to 00:00, the machine stops making ice or cleaning and enters the standby mode. In the timer mode, the maximum timing time that can be set by the cleaning function is 60 minutes.

CAUTION

  1. ADD WATER: When the “add water indicator light” flashes and the machine stops making ice, it means that the water tank is short of water and needs to add water, then press the “START/PAUSE” button to restart the machine.
  2. ICE FULL: When the ice reaches the maximum amount of the ice storage container, the “ice full indicator light” flashes, and the machine stops making ice. At this time, the ice needs to be poured out. When the ice position is lower than the ice full sensor position, the machine will restart automatically.
  3. MOTOR FAULT: When the motor fails, “digital screen” displays E1, press the “START/PAUSE” button to remove the fault.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

Step 1

Open the lid and take out the ice collecting tray, and add water to the Water tank, make sure the drain plug is inserted before adding water.

Note: There is a maximum scale MAX in the reservoir. The water should not exceed the MAX position. If the water exceeds the maximum scale MAX, you need to open the bottom drain plug, release the excess water, and cover with a transparent cover.

Step 2
Plug in power, the “digital screen” lights up, the “power indicator light” always being on and the machine enters the standby mode.

Step 3
Press the “Big Ice” or “Small Ice” button to Select the size of the ice you want to make and the default mode is large ice.
When the indoor temperature is lower than 15 ℃, small ice is recommended. When the indoor temperature is higher than 30 ℃, large ice is recommended.

Step 4
Press START/PAUSE button to Start ice making.

CAUTION

  1. The three cycles used for the first time, the ice produced is small and irregular.
  2. When the ice basket is full, please take out the ice immediately, do not let the ice overflow the ice collecting tray.
  3. To avoid contamination of food, please respect the following instructions:
    • Opening the door for long periods can cause a significant increase of the temperature in the compartments of the appliance.
    • Clean regularly surfaces that can come in contact with food and accessible drainage systems.
    • Drain water tanks if they have not been used for 48 hours.
    • If the refrigerating appliance is left empty for long periods, switch off, defrost, clean, dry, and leave the door open to prevent mould developing within the appliance.)

TIPS

  1. The machine needs to add water manually, up to the MAX on the scale.
  2. The ice basket can hold 1.3 lbs Ice. When the ice basket is full, ice making will stop automatically.
  3. If ice is not used in time, it will melt into water and flow back to the water tank, which will be used for the next ice making;
  4. The melting time of ice cubes is about 2-4 hours, depending on the current temperature, ice cue size and number of ice cubes in the basket.
  5. When the ice melts, and the ice basket is not full, the machine will making ice automatically until the basket is full.
  6. The machine do not need defrosting.
  7. During the ice making process, you can add water and take ice, and the ice-making will not stop.
  8. When the machine is operating normally, hot air will be emitted from the rear air outlet with a buzzing sound of about 55-60 decibels. If there are other sounds or no wind, there may be other malfunctions. Please refer to “TROUBLESHOOTING”.

CLEANING & USE GUIDANCE

  1. Clean the inner liner, ice collecting tray, water box, ice shovel and evaporator frequently. When cleaning, unplug the unit and remove the ice cubes. Use a diluted solution of water and vinegar to clean the inside and the outside surface of the Ice maker. Do not spray Ice maker with chemicals or diluted agents such as acids, gasoline or oil. Rinse thoroughly before starting.
  2. Keep ventilation openings in the appliance enclosure, or in the built-in structure, clear of obstruction. Do not use mechanical devices or other means to accelerate the defrosting process, other than those recommended by the manufacturer.
  3. Reuse the machine after being idled for a period of time, it may not be able to pump enough water up for air blockage. In this case, just repress START/PAUSE button to restart the ice maker.
  4. To ensure the cleanness of ice, please change water for water reservoir at least once one day. If do not use for a long time, please drain the water out and clean it up.
  5. If the compressor does not work due to lack of water, ice full, power failure, etc, it will delay for 3 minutes to start up after restarted.
  6. Always use fresh water before starting ice production either at initial installation or after a long shut-off period.
  7. It is recommended to clean the water tank and tray at least once a month.

TROUBLESHOOTING

  1. Please note, if a power failure occurs due to disconnection of the power cord, or the power button has been pushed off during an ice making cycle, small ice chips may formed and lodge in the automatic shovel causing it to jam. If this occurs, the ice chips may be removed by disconnecting the power cord and gently pushing the shovel to the rear of the cabinet and removing the ice chips, then restarting.
  2. Please check if the water reservoir is flat when the ice shovel can not remove the ice to ice collecting tray. If not, please push the ice shovel gently by finger, then press START/PAUSE button to restart.
