Thank you for selecting the Dualie® 3AA/Dualie® 3AA Laser/Dualie® 3AA Color- Rite® portable flashlight. As with any professional tool, reasonable care and maintenance of this product will provide years of dependable service. Please read this manual before using your Dualie®.
SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS. This guide contains important safety and operating instructions for your Dualie®.
The intrinsically safe Division 1 approval is only valid when the apparatus is used and maintained by the accompanying instructions and only within the marked product class or category. You, the user, are responsible for the correct application of this product.
SAFETY
LED SAFETY

PRODUCT SAFETY
- CAUTION EXPLOSION RISK, BURN, AND FIRE HAZARD. DO NOT OPEN OR CHARGE IN A POTENTIALLY HAZARDOUS LOCATION. BATTERIES MUST ONLY BE CHANGED IN AN AREA KNOWN TO BE NONHAZARDOUS. SUBSTITUTION OF COMPONENTS MAY IMPAIR INTRINSIC SAFETY. REMOVE THE FLASHLIGHT FROM SERVICE IF ANY PART OF THE ENCLOSURE IS MISSING OR BROKEN.
BATTERY SAFETY
- CAUTION EXPLOSION RISK, BURN, AND FIRE HAZARD. DO NOT DISASSEMBLE, CRUSH, SHORT CIRCUIT, HEAT ABOVE 212°F (100°C), OR DISCARD IN FIRE. DO NOT MIX ALKALINE BATTERIES OF DIFFERENT BRANDS OR OLD WITH NEW BATTERIES. DO NOT RECHARGE ALKALINE. KEEP AWAY FROM CHILDREN. BATTERY MUST BE RECYCLED OR DISPOSED OF PROPERLY.
BATTERY INSTALLATION/REMOVAL
Before installing or removing batteries, read and understand the Product Safety and Battery Safety statements above.
- Use a provided wrench to loosen the face cap locking screw. (ATEX models only).
- Unscrew the facecap, remove the LED/battery module from the flashlight barrel, and remove the depleted batteries.
NOTICE Do not touch the LED or reflector with bare hands.
- Insert 3 fresh batteries into the LED/battery module (observe polarity) and reinsert the LED/battery module into the flashlight barrel.
- Screw the facecap onto the flashlight barrel and tighten it until it stops on the body.
- Align facecap lock ribs with facecap locking screw. Tighten the facecap locking screw. Do not overtighten the screw. (ATEX models only).
GENERAL OPERATION
- The Dualie® 3AA model features a forward-facing LED spot beam and a down-ward-facing LED flood light that can be used individually or at the same time. The Dualie® 3AA Laser model features a forward-facing LED spot beam and laser pointer for targeting objects at a distance, which can be used individually or at the same time. The Dualie® 3AA Color-Rite® model features a forward-facing LED spot beam and a forward-facing high CRI LED flood light that can be used individually or at the same time.
- The head switches are on opposite sides for easy identification and operation. Use Spot LED push button head switch for momentary or constant operation. Use Flood LED or Laser Pointer push button head switch for on/off operation.
MAINTENANCE
- The Dualie® 3AA models can be cleaned with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Do not use solvents. Do not clean in hazardous areas. To maintain hermetic integrity periodically inspect the housing and o-rings. Remove the flashlight from service if any part of the enclosure is missing or broken.
PRODUCT USE
- Streamlight flashlights are intended for use as high-intensity, heavy-duty, and portable light sources. The use of Streamlight flashlights for any purpose other than as light sources is specifically discouraged by the manufacturer. Streamlight specifically disclaims liability for other than recommended use.
NOTICE Be sure to use only genuine Streamlight replacement parts. To assure product safety always use Streamlight-approved replacement parts, substitution may invalidate the product approval. Do not try to repair the unit yourself. Send it to a qualified service facility or return it to the factory.
STREAMLIGHT LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY
- Streamlight warrants this product to be free of defects for a lifetime of use except for batteries and bulbs, abuse, and normal wear. We will repair, replace, or refund the purchase price of this product should we determine it to be defective. This limited lifetime warranty also excludes rechargeable batteries, chargers, switches, and electronics which have a 2-year warranty with proof of purchase. THIS IS THE ONLY WARRANTY, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING ANY WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
- INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR SPECIAL DAMAGES ARE EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMED EXCEPT WHERE SUCH LIMITATION IS PROHIBITED BY LAW. You may have other specific legal rights which vary by jurisdiction.

- The Dualie® 3AA is a hazardous location listed light. The Dualie® 3AA contains few or no user-serviceable parts. Should your Dualie® 3AA need service, we recommend returning it to the Streamlight Repair Department or a Streamlight Authorized Service Center.
