How-To Install
Measure & Cut
Dry fit the Stair Tread in the center of the step and ensure the rounded stair
nose fits securely to the front of the step to avoid tripping hazards. If
necessary, trim the Stair Tread to the required size with a utility knife.
NOTE : If using adhesive, mark the edges of the Stair Tread (with a
pencil) on the step to identify placement during adhesive application. Remove
the Stair Tread once placement is confirmed and marked.
Apply
Concrete or Tile Surfaces: With the Stair Tread removed from the step, apply
non-solvent-based adhesive (sold separately) to the back of the Stair Tread or
directly to the step within the marked lines. Re-install the Stair Tread
ensuring it is pressed firmly and evenly onto the step. Clean any excess
adhesive from the edges immediately.
Apply
Carpeted or Wooden Surfaces: With the Stair Tread suitably placed, fasten to
the step with staples or tacks (sold separately).
NOTE : If installing with tacks or nails, protect the heads with tape or
cloth while hammering to avoid damaging the finish.
