Specifications

Product Usage Instructions

Instrument Only:
For using the product with instruments only:

  1. Connect your instrument to the high-impedance TS mono input in the L channel.
  2. Adjust the Gain Switch to the appropriate level based on your instrument.
  3. Use the Master Volume control to adjust the overall volume in your headphones.

Line/Pedal Board:
For connecting to a line-level source or pedal board:

  1. Connect your source or pedal board to the appropriate input.
  2. Adjust the Gain Switch accordingly for line-level signals.
  3. Use the Master Volume control to adjust the output volume.

Troubleshooting:

  • If there is no output on one channel: Check the connections and ensure the Polarity Switch is set correctly.
  • If there is no output at all: Ensure the power is on and headphones are connected before powering up.

PRODUCT OVERVIEW

  • A. Master Volume: controls the overall volume in headphones.

How To Use

Instrument only

  1. Start with the gain switched to low (line level) and the auxiliary mix knob all the way down (counterclockwise).
  2. Flip the center switch to mono.
  3. Plug your instrument into the left (instrument) input.
  4. Connect the amp to power (9-12 Volts only).
  5. Connect your headphones to the amp.
  6. Turn up the master volume to 9 o’clock. Begin playing and adjust the volume from there as desired.
  7. If you find there is not enough gain, flip the gain switch to high (instrument level).
  8. Optionally, you may connect a device to the auxiliary input and then adjust the auxiliary mix knob as desired.

Line/Pedal Board

  1. Start with the gain switched to low (line level) and the auxiliary mix all the way down (counterclockwise).
  2. Plug the last pedal(s) in the chain to the headphone amp. If you need stereo audio, use both inputs. For mono, you can use either input.
  3. Flip the center switch to mono or stereo accordingly. Select mono if you need to sum your stereo inputs to mono.
  4. Connect the amp to power.
  5. Connect your headphones to the amp.
  6. Turn up the master volume to 9 o’clock. Begin playing and adjust the volume from there as desired.
  7. Optionally, you may connect a device to the auxiliary input and then adjust the auxiliary mix knob as desired.

Troubleshooting

If there is no output on one channel…

  • Check all of the cables and swap the input, to see if the problem moves from one channel to the other.
  • Verify that headphones are good with another source.

If there is no output at all…

  • Check to see if the power LED is lit, and check the power connection.
  • Verify that power is on, using another pedal.
  • In the case of Strymon™ power supplies (Zuma™, Ojai™,) make sure the power is off, and the headphone is connected, before powering up the supply.

Warranty
