Product Information: PRB-101 Swipe Card Reader Bracket

The PRB-101 Swipe Card Reader Bracket is a mounting bracket designed for the IAdea WRP-1000 10 All-In-One Smart Signboard, allowing for magnetic stripe card reader integration. The bracket is made of 1.5mm SECC material and weighs 57.2g. It has dimensions of 53.6mm x 99.0mm and is compatible with WRP-1000 MagTek Super Swipe Series. The box contents include one Swipe Card Reader Bracket (SCRB), three black M3 x 5 flat head screws for securing the swipe card reader to the bracket, two black M3 x 8 pan head screws for securing the WRP-1000 to the back cover, one black M2 x 8 pan head screw, and one 3M tape for securing the swipe card reader bracket to WRP1000 when left or right mounted, and for securing swipe card reader to bracket when top mounted.

Product Usage Instructions

Note : Significant temperature deviations and changes in elevation or environment can lead to the glass panel of the smart room panel to trap a small amount of moisture. To avoid damage the condensation requires at least 2 to 4 hours to evaporate prior to usage.

Tool Preparation

Tools and items required for installation:

• Isopropyl wipe
• Philips hand-held screwdriver
• Battery-powered dril
• Fine-tip permanent marker
• Phillips drill bit
• Screws for mounting back cover (not included)

Mounting and Installation

The PRB-101 swipe card reader bracket can be mounted onto the WRP-1000 in three different locations. The installation method varies depending on the mounting location of the bracket.

Mounting Method 1 (attached lengthwise)

1. Place the WRP-1000 back cover with the bracket at the desired mounting location. Mark the four mounting hole locations.
2. Drill holes in the marked spots then secure the back cover with screws.
3. Connect the magnetic stripe card reader and Ethernet cables to the WRP-1000.
4. Place the WRP-1000 onto the back cover.
5. Tighten the top and bottom screws of the back cover to secure the device.
6. Remove one side of the tape and affix it to the bracket.
7. Align the SCRB with the WRP-1000 screw hole before securing it to the device using an M3 x 8 pan head screw.
8. Remove the second side of the tape and affix the Swipe Card Reader to the bracket. Apply adequate force to the swipe card reader to secure it.
9. Conduct cable management as necessary.
10. Installation complete.

Mounting Method 2 (attached breadthwise, either side)

1. Place the WRP-1000 back cover with the bracket at the desired mounting location. Mark the four mounting hole locations.
