AXM50-GM1 Product Information
The AXM50-GM1 is a GM MOST50 Amp Retention Interface designed for use in various Cadillac, Chevrolet, and GMC models from 2014-2021. This product allows you to retain the factory amplifier and speakers when replacing the radio in your vehicle. AXM50-GM1 Installation Instructions
Before installing the AXM50-GM1, make sure to disconnect the negative
battery terminal with the key out of the ignition. Ensure that all
installation connections, including airbag indicator lights, are plugged in
before reconnecting the battery or cycling the ignition to test this product.
Refer to the instructions provided by the aftermarket accessory before
installing this device.
Connections
Refer to the following connections for installation:
- From the 10-pin or 12-pin jumper harness to the vehicle:
- If the vehicle does not have a CD or DVD-Drive, disregard these steps.
- Black 12-pin harness removed from the DVD-Drive. Note: Even though this step must be done for models with rear seat entertainment, the rear seat entertainment system will not be retained by this interface.
- LD-JUMP 10 PIN
- Overall Gain Potentiometer
- LD-JUMP 12 PIN LED
- 8 Pin – Plug into the Connector you unplugged from the CD Player. Connect to the 8 PIN MOST connector at tuner
- 8 Pin – To AXGMLN-09 Harness
- RADIO
- 4-PIN MIC HDMI
- Rear View
- 10 Pin
- RCAs – Cut RCA’s and wire to speaker level if you have low sound.
- 22 Pin – To AXGMLN-09 Interface
From the 10-pin or 12-pin jumper harness to the vehicle:
If the vehicle does not have a CD or DVD-Drive, disregard these steps.
For models without rear seat entertainment:
- Connect the female Black 10-pin jumper harness, to the male Black 10-pin harness removed from the CD-Drive.
For models with rear seat entertainment:
- Connect the female Black 12-pin jumper harness, to the male Black 12-pin harness removed from the DVD-Drive.
Note: Even though this step must be done for models with rear seat
entertainment, the rear seat entertainment system will not be retained by this
interface.
Initialization Steps
- After all connections are made, turn on the ignition.
- Look at the LED on the AXM50-GM1 and wait for the LED to go solid RED.
- Once LED is solid RED, cycle ignition and test.

- Zip ties
- Cutters (for zip ties)
ATTENTION: With the key out of the ignition, disconnect the negative
