- Check the voltage specified on the nameplate and ensure it matches the line voltage in your location.
- Install the instrument in a clean, dustless, and ventilated area under 40 ºC.
- Never use the pump with any flammable gas or toxic material.
- The pump is not designed to start against applied vacuum. To prevent damage, verify that the pump inlet is at atmospheric pressure before each start. If necessary, the inlet can be vented to atmosphere by partially unscrewing the vacuum regulator knob.
- When finishing pumping, please do not turn off the pump immediately. Instead, continue running the vacuum pump for at least two minutes to draw out any mist and tiny liquid, thereby prolonging the service life of the pump.
- This pump has a thermal protection device that automatically shuts off when it becomes overheated.
- The surface of the pump becomes very hot after use or during operation. Please avoid touching it to prevent burns.
- Do not use any lubricant, which may damage the pump.
- If the supply cord is damaged, please contact the manufacturer or your service agent for a replacement to prevent hazards.
- Warning: The PTFE-coated diaphragm and chamber offer good resistance to a wide range of chemicals, except for strong acids and alkalis.
