Temperature monitoring

The XP30R is equipped with a temperature monitoring system and active cooling system, which permanently monitors the temperature of the lamp as well as the battery.
If needed, the lamp adds a fan or lowers the maximum light intensity. Thus, it is always ensured that the product is operated within the permitted temperature limits of the components.

Battery management and backup mode

At 30% remaining battery capacity, the bar display blinks continuously.

  • The lamp automatically switches to mode 2 and can also no longer be switched to a stronger light level.
  • The strobe mode and the boost mode can no longer be used.

From a 10% remaining battery capacity, the lamp automatically switches to backup mode. It prevents a sudden switching off of the lamp and makes sure that the user continues to have the light available with a weak battery.

  • In this mode, the lamp can only be used in the lowest brightness level (mode 1).

Stand-mounting

On the lower side of the lamp is a thread for mounting on all stands with 3/8”-16 UNC thread (Fig. 11).

CAUTION – Risk of fire

If the distance kept from flammable objects is too short, they can catch fire.

  • Maintain 2 m distance from objects.

Instructions regarding disposal

Dispose of defective batteries according to the national directives because the batteries can endanger the environment.

The crossed out waste bin indicates the obligation for disposal of old electrical and electronic devices separately from the household waste. For one thing, these devices contain valuable raw materials, and for another, they can also contain harmful substances.

Separate disposal avoids endangering the environment and health and helps to conserve resources by recycling raw materials.
Free return via local collection and return systems as well as other collection points is possible.

All distributors with a retail space of ≥ 400 m² for electrical devices (or with ≥ 800 m² total retail space, which offer electrical devices in addition to foodstuffs multiple times in a calendar year or permanently or regularly each year) are obliged to take back an old device (same type of device with essentially the same function) directly or locally, free of charge, upon submission of such devices. Up to 3** old devices (max 25 x 25 x 25 cm) per device type can also be returned locally free of charge without a prior purchase in retail store or at a return system.

Each end user is responsible for deleting personal data on old devices.
Provided it can be done non-destructively, remove the discharged batteries carefully, following
the usage instructions and dispose of them separately.

  • In case of sale using remote means of communication, the storage and dispatch areas are considered as retail space
