IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Important: Some options may slightly alter installation. To ensure proper
installation review the manual thoroughly and verify rough-ins before
beginning any work. File this manual with the owner or maintenance personnel
upon completion of installation.
Carefully review Toilet Pedestal Anchoring and rough-in details against site conditions.
These units are not considered “accessible” and do not conform with ADA requirements.
Prior to installation, supply lines must be flushed of all foreign material such as pipe dope, chips, or solder. Debris or foreign material in water supply may damage valve. Teflon tape is recommended on all threaded waste and supply connections to reduce the possibility of leaks.
Toilet requires a minimum of 25 PSI flow pressure and uses a minimum water consumption of 1.28 GPF.
For -SO Faucet Option: provide 110-120VAC/60Hz/3A(MAX) electrical receptacle for optional factory supplied 120VAC/9VDC, 100mAplug-in Transformer.
NOTE: Receptacle(s) must be wired to a GFCI protected circuit. Fixture must be earth grounded per N.E.C. (National Electrical Code).

INSTALLATION, OPERATIONS & MAINTENANCE
MODEL# 4047 -ONFF FLOOR WASTE ROUGH-INS
DETAIL A
Install Cabinet Anchors [6] as required, drive anchors until they are
imbedded a min. of 1-1/4” into the floor.
Floors and Walls must be straight and Plumb / Square in order to prevent
deformation of cabinet and malfunction of toilet assembly.
Installer shall use Industry Standards of Best practice to determine appropriate Fasteners to suit Wall Construction and site conditions.

- 1/2” IPS Female Lavatory Valve Supplies.
- 1-1/2” OD Lavatory Waste Outlet (P-trap By Others).
- 1” NPT Flush Valve Inlet.
- 7-1/2” Diameter Recessed Gasket Seat with 5/16” Diameter holes on 6” C/C for Waste Outlet for connection to Industry Standard Closet Flange (By Others).
- 1/2” NCT Bedpan Washer Inlet from Vacuum Breaker By Others; Acorn recommends a Pressure Type Vacuum Breaker for backflow prevention. Follow local codes for installation of backflow device.
- Floor Anchor Pattern. Drill holes a minimum 1-1/4” deep for 3/8” Expansion Shields Provided. DETAIL A.
- Anchor Wall Pattern on wall for 1/4” Wall Fasteners By Others. See Note.

- BWD Option: Ø1-1/2” OD Plain End Bedpan Washer Waste Outlet for P-trap By Others.
- DB Option: Dialysis Box: 1/2” NPT Valve Supply Inlets. (Single or Dual Valve)
- Dialysis Box Waste Outlet 1-1/2” OD Tube for P-trap By Others
- SO Faucet Option: 110VAC / 60Hz / 3 Amps max. Receptacle must be wired to a GFI protected circuit provided By Others.
CABINET INSTALLATION
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:
A. Remove Countertop [1], Access Doors [2], Panels [3] and Storage
Compartment or Optional Dialysis Box [4]. FIGURE 1
B. Anchor to floor using provided Anchors and Anchoring Hardware [5].
Level cabinet if Necessary (Detail “A”) prior to anchoring Cabinets to wall
using 1/4” Lag Screws [6] By Others (Detail “B”). FIGURE 2
C. Make up Supply and Waste Connections.
D. Install Bedpan Washer Supply Adapter [7] with Flexible Hose [8] By
Others making up connections to vacuum breaker By Others; Whitehall recommends
a pressure type vacuum breaker for backflow prevention. Follow local codes for
installation of backflow prevention device. FIGURE 1
E. Test for proper operation and re-install Access Doors [2], Access
Panels [3] and Storage Compartment or optional Dialysis Box [4].
F. Install Countertop [1] to Frame by attaching as required using
appropriate mounting hardware (By Others) as shown. FIGURE 1
- Installer shall use Industry Standards of Best practice to determine appropriate Fasteners to suit Wall Construction and site conditions.
- To prevent Swing up Toilet Cover from binding & to allow seat to swing up & down freely, maintain min 18.5 inches inside dimension.
- Hint: a small board cut to length and inserted between frame sections for use as a spacer during install to ensure proper width is maintained.
TOILET INSTALLATION
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS -ONFW, -OFFF UNITS:
A. Install Toilet Bowl Assembly [1] to Toilet Spacer [2] with (4) 1/4”
Hex Head Bolts [3].
B. Make up Waste Connection to recessed Gasket Flange [4] using industry
standard Closet Flange, Gasket and Closet Bolts [5] By Others.
C. Install Hydraulic Flush Valve [6] to Toilet Assembly [1] and connect
Flush Valve Supply [7].
D. Remove Flush Valve Pushbutton Panel [8] and connect Hydraulic Lines
[9] to Pushbutton [10].
E. Run Hydraulic Lines [9] through Rubber Grommet [11] and connect to
flush valve per manufacture’s instructions (leaving bulk of Hydraulic Lines in
Lavy Compartment to allow removal of Flush Valve Pushbutton Panel [8] without
kinking Hydraulic Lines).
F. Install Toilet Spacer Cover [12] to Toilet Spacer [2] using 10-32
Phillips Head Machine Screws [15].
G. Install Flush Valve Cover [13] to Spacer Cover [12] and top Mounting
Channel [14]. Using 10-32 Phillips Head Machine Screws [15].
TOILET INSTALLATION WITH CARRIER
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS -OFFW UNITS:
A. Install Toilet Bowl Assembly [1] to Toilet Spacer [2] with Mounting
Carrier [3] By Others.
B. Make up Waste Outlet Connection [4] to Floor or Wall Waste Connections
using Industry Standard Closet Flange, gasket ring, & Closet Bolts [5] By
Others.
C. Install Hydraulic Flush Valve [6] to Toilet Assembly [1] and connect
Flush Valve Supply [7].
D. Remove Flush Valve Pushbutton Panel [8] and connect Hydraulic Lines
[9] to Pushbutton [10].
E. Run Hydraulic Lines [9] through Rubber Grommet [11] and connect to
flush valve per manufacture’s instructions (leaving bulk of Hydraulic Lines in
Lavy Compartment to allow removal of Flush Valve Pushbutton Panel [8] without
kinking Hydraulic Lines).
F. Install Toilet Spacer Cover [12] to Toilet Spacer [2] using 10-32
Phillips Head Machine Screws [15].
G. Install Flush Valve Cover [13] to Spacer Cover [12] and top Mounting
Channel [14]. Using 10-32 Phillips Head Machine Screws [15].
SEAT & CUSHION INSTALLATION
Ensure Frame Opening is to tolerance to ensure swing up seat and cushion
assembly does not bind with Frame and swings up and down freely.
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:
A. Fold Seat and Back Cushion Assembly [1] together while aligning and
engaging Roller Bearings [2] into Roller Bearing Seats [3] on fixture.
B. Fully engage Roller Bearing Seats [3] while maintaining seat folded
position.
C. Install both Bearing Seat Top Covers [4] with #10-32 x 1-1/4” long
screws provided.
D. Install both Bearing Seat Bottom Covers [5] with fasteners provided.
E. Release back Cushion Panel [1]. Cushion Panel should come to rest on
front edge of fixture Countertop.
OPTIONAL -VF FOOT VALVE INSTALLATION

Maximum recommended working pressure is 100 PSI; Temperature is 130°F; Outlet Temperature is recommended at a maximum of 105°F. -
WARNING: Prior to making installation, Supply Lines must be flushed of al l foreign materials such as Pipe Dope, C hips, E T C . Maximum recommended Outlet Water temperature is 105°F.
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:
A. Attach Foot Pedal Assembly [1] to Toe Panel [2].
B. Attach 1/8” Dia. Air Lines [3] from Foot Pushbuttons [4] to Valve Body
[5]. Use Cable Ties [6] By Others to keep lines together & straight.
