SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

WARNING

  • Before installing, servicing, or performing routine maintenance upon this equipment, follow these general precautions.
  • To reduce the risk of death, personal injury, or property damage from fire, electric shock, falling parts, cuts/abrasions, and other hazards, read all warnings and instructions included with and on the fixture box and all fixture labels.
  • Proper grounding is required to ensure safety.
  • Power must be turned off at the breaker before installation or maintenance.
  • Installation, service, and maintenance of luminaires should be performed by a qualified licensed electrician.
  • Wear gloves and eye protection at all times while installing, servicing, or preforming maintenance on the luminaire, and avoid direct eye exposure to the light source while it is on.
  • Do not install damaged product. Inspect luminaire for damage that may have occurred during transit. If damaged, contact the manufacturer immediately.
  • These instructions do not purport to cover all details or variations in equipment nor to provide every possible contingency to meet in connection with installation, operation, or maintenance. Should further information be desired or should particular problems arise which are not covered sufficiently for the purchaser’s or owner’s purposes, contact the manufacturer.

CAUTION

  • Do not use an electric generator to operate this fixture.
  • Install this fixture in accordance with country, regional and local laws and regulations.

NOTICE

  • In the event of smoke or fire, tum off power immediately and call a licensed electrician.
  • Read the installation instructions carefully to check whether all the accessories are complete.
  • The 150W model requires a second retention point. Refer to the instructions outlined below regarding the installation of a second retention point.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

U- Bracket Mount

  • Mark on the ceiling or wall the location of the bracket mounting holes. Drill holes on the marks (Figure 1 ). Drill 10mm diameter holes for the 60W model or 12mm diameter holes for the 150W model.
  • Use a hammer to insert the expansion screws into the holes (Figure 2).
  • Align the holes on the U-bracket with the expansion screws Figure 3),
  • Tighten the screw nuts (Figure 4 ).
  • Unscrew the compression nut on the fixture to open the wiring cavity.
  • Connect the power supply to the terminal block and close the wiring cavity.
  • Fixture waterproofing connections and conduit system connections must be made in accordance with local regulations.
  • After installation, users can adjust 90 degrees from vertical downward direction by adjusting the screw on the bracket. (Figure 5 and Figure 6).PLT PremiumSpec PLTS-11958 Round Hazardous Location-fig-1

Threaded Conduit Mount

  • Unscrew the compression nut on the fixture to open the wiring cavity (Figure 1 ).
  • Run the wire through the threaded conduit and screw the threaded pipe into the fixture (Figure 2 and Figure 3).
  • Connect the power supply to the terminal block and close the wiring cavity.
  • Fixture waterproofing connections and conduit system connections must be made in accordance with local regulations.

Second Retention Point

  • Safety cable is necessary for the 150w model (Figure 7).
  • Wrap the safety cable around the middle of the fixture (Figure 8).
  • Tighten the safety cable to the fixture (Figure 9).
  • Fasten the other end of the safety cable to the outlet box or the mounting structure of the outlet box (Figure 10).PLT PremiumSpec PLTS-11958 Round Hazardous Location-fig-3
