INSTALLATION INSTRUCTION

NOTES TO THE INSTALLER:

  1. Please leave this documentation with the owner of the fixture when finished.
  2. Please read this entire booklet before beginning the installation.
  3. Check your installation for compliance with plumbing and other applicable codes.

Important

Details listed below for installation of Flooring are provided as reference only. Installer shall follow Industry Standards of Practice which are best suited for the site conditions and materials being used.

  1. Remove Stainless Steel Fasteners and Drain Cover. Set aside for later installation.

  2. PRE-COAT THE LAY-OUT AREA: Using Water Proofing Compound across the designated floor area and side walls

  3. Prior to pouring concrete floor slab or constructing alternate flooring structure: Position Drain Body Assembly at desired location atop “sub-floor structure” and aligned with 2” IPS Drainpipe. Make up 2” IPS (2-3/8” OD) NoHub Waste Connection: Use appropriate Band Coupling (Provided By Others) to ensure connection does not leak

  4. Prep unfinished floor as required to receive Sub-Floor: Pour the Floor Screed Compound, pack underneath the Drain Body. And screed from the bottom to the top of the Drain Flange. Complete construction of sub-flooring structure.

NOTE: Use Level to make sure Drain Body is positioned properly
Important Top Flashing Flange must be flushed to Screed Compound for proper installation

  1. Prep pre-finished floor as required to Waterproofed Sub-Floor: Once Screen Compound has dried. Apply water proofing com pound Per Manufacturers recommendations and to meet code standards.

Note: Carefully not to cover Drain Holes during layer coating

  1. Install Tiles: Once Waterproof Compound has completely dried complete Flooring as required. (Install Tiling etc.)

  2. Install Drain Cover: Position Drain Cover [”into” or “inside”] the Drain Body Assembly and screw Drain Cover using the Fasteners Screws provided.

Note: Using a socket wrench, tighten Fasteners from inside to out, alternating sides and repeating the process until all screws are tight. do not over tighten.
