SAFETY GUIDELINES

Check Before Use:

  1. This product is a high precision drone that integrates various electronic stability and control mechanisms. Please be sure to setup this drone careful­ly and correctly to ensure safe, accident-free operation.
  2. Please be sure that the batteries of the drone and transmitter are clean, undamaged and, fully charged.
  3. Please be sure that all the propellers are undamaged and are installed in the correct orientation.
  4. Please do a thorough check of the product before each use. Inspect the integrity of the parts, any signs of cracks and wear of the propeller, battery power and effectiveness of the indicator, etc. If a?er doing a complete check any issues are found, please refrain from using the product until the issue has been resolved.

Flight Environment

  • Avoid flying over or near obstacles, crowds, high voltage power lines, trees, airport or bodies of water.
  • DO NOT fly near strong electromagnetic sources such as power lines and base stations as it may affect the onboard compass.DEERC-D50-Drone-for-Adults-fig- \(2\)
  • Don’t use this drone in adverse weather conditions such as rain, snow, fog, and wind.

Operation Requirements:

  1. Please don’t use this product to follow any moving vehicles .
  2. During the flight, only turn off the motor in case of an emergency,
  3. As battery becomes low return the drone back to your starting point.
  4. This product should not be used while drinking alcohol, if you are feeling fatigued, taking medicine, or feeling any physical discomfort.
  5. Beware of the noise volume the drone produces. Keep your distance to avoid ear damage.DEERC-D50-Drone-for-Adults-fig- 33
  6. Stay away from the rotating propellers and motors.
  7. Don’t fly in the No-Fly Zone.

Use of Battery:

  1. Please ensure batteries are fitted in the correct orientation as shown in the instruction manual.
  2. Avoid short circuits by fitting the batteries correctly, and do not crush or squeeze the batteries as this could carry the risk of an explosion.
  3. Do not mix new and old batteries as this can lead to a poor performance of the product.
  4. Dispose used batteries carefully, do not litter.
  5. Please keep dead batteries away from heat and fire.
  6. If the device is not going to be used for an extended period of time, remove batteries to prevent potential damage from battery leakage.
  7. It is recommended to only use the USB charging cable that comes with the drone to charge the battery.
  8. Don’t connect the battery directly to wall outlets or car cigarette -lighter sockets.
  9. Don’t attempt to disassemble or modify the battery in any way
  10. Don’t use the battery if it gives off an odor, generates heat, becomes discolored or deformed.or appears abnormal in any way If the battery is in use or being charged, remove it from the device or charger immediately and discontinue use.
  11. Don’t pierce the battery casing with a nail or other sharp object, break it open with a hammer, or step on it!
  12. Always charge the batteries in a fireproof container and away from combustible materials. Don’t charge on surfaces that can catch fire. This includes: wood, cloth, carpet, or in the application’s device.
  13. Don’t immerse the battery in water or allow it to get wet
  14. Don’t solder battery terminal directly
  15. Keep battery out of reach of children or pets.
  16. Don’t short-circuit the battery by connecting wires or other metal object to the positive(+) and negative(-) terminals.

Li-Po Battery Disposal & Recycling
Waste Lithium-polymer batteries must not be placed with household trash. Please contact local environmental or waste agency or the waste agency or the supplier of your model or your nearest Li-Po battery recycling center.

MAINTENANCE

  1. Clean the product after each use with a clean, soft cloth.
  2. Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight and avoid buildup of heat on the drone.
  3. This device is not waterproof and must not be submerged in water under any circumstance. Failure to maintain the device completely dry will result in the failure of the unit.
  4. Check the charging plug and other accessories for signs of damage frequently If any part of the device is damaged, refrain from fiying until maintenance can be carried out.

To enter MODE I, turn on the transmitter while holding the “Take Photo” button. (Please do not release the ‘Take Photo” button until the transmitter is powered on.)

CHARGING

Make sure the battery is fully charged before each flight

  1. When the drone battery runs low. the indicator lights on the drone will blink quickly, and the transmitter will continuously emit a “Di” warning sound.
  2. Remove the battery and connect the USB charging cable to the battery.
  3. Plug the USB charging cable into a USB charging port on the computer. power bank or USB adapter (SV/0.5 to 2.0A ).
  4. The red indicator light on the battery will turn on when it is charging. and will turn off when the battery is fully charged.
  5. Charging time: about 90 minutes.
    • Due to transportation requirements. the battery have been discharged before leaving the factory (30% power remaining). Make sure the battery is fully charged before you use it for the first time.
    • Before charging. please check the contents of the ” Use of Battery” section of the “Safety Guidelines” carefully!

INSTALLATION

Propellers

The drone will not fly unless the correct propeller is installed on the correct motor sharr. See illustration above. An “A” or “B” is printed on the each propeller. Lock the propeller to the motor sharr with screw rotating each screw clockwise.

Drone Battery

  • Installation: Push the battery correctly into the drone battery compartment. Make sure the battery is in place to ensure that the battery is jammed in the battery compartment. (Pie 1)
  • Removal: Press the lock on the bottom of the battery and pull it back to remove the battery from the fuselage. (Pie 2)

Propeller Guard

Installation:

  1. As shown above, push the propeller guard into the motor base. (Pie 3)
  2. The protection guard can be fixed by pressing the clip on the propeller guard. (Pie 4)

Removal: The propeller guard can be removed by pushing up the clip on the propeller guard. (Pie 5)

Landing Gear

  • Installation: Push the landing gear into the landing gear chuck on the fuselage. ( Pie 6)
  • Removal: The landing gear can be removed by pulling back the landing gear while slightly pressing the buckle of the landing gear on the wing. (Pie 7)

Transmitter Battery

  • As shown above, insert the battery into the battery compartment. Please pay attention to the positive and negative polarity of the battery to ensure the correct installation of the battery.
  • When the transmitter battery runs low, the transmitter will constantly beep.

Phone Holder

  1. As shown above, install the phone holder to the transmitter.
  2. Open the phone holder and put the phone. Then you can use the FPV real-time transmission function.

OPERATION GUIDE

Download APP

  • Scan the OR code, corresponding to either App Store™ or Google Play™ Store and download the Deere FPV app for free.
  • Required Operating Systems: iOS 7.0 or later/ Android 4.4 or later

Connect to Wi-Fi
Connect your smart phone to the Wi-Fi network created by the drone. Check the drone’s status in the Deere FPV app.

  1. Your smartphone will launch a search of the available Wi-Fi networks:

  2. Select the Wi-Fi network: DEERC-**.

  3. Wait for several seconds until your smartphone connect to the Wi-Fi network of the drone.
    This connection is generally represented by the Wi-Fi logo appearing on your smartphone’s screen.

  4. Launch the Deere FPV application.

    • The connection between your smartphone and the drone will be established automatically.

All of the following operations on this manual takes MODE 2 for example.

Pairing

  1. Push the power button to “ON” status to turn on the drone and the indicator lights on the drone begins to flash.
  2. Place the drone on a fiat and level surface with the head forward and the tail towards the pilot.
  3. Press the power switch button on the transmitter to turn it on and you will hear “Di'”, then the indicator light on the transmitter will flash.
  4. Push the left joystick up then down to pair the drone with the transmitter. The indicator lights on the drone and the transmitter will turn solid if the drone is paired successfully.
Calibrating the Gyroscope

Push both joysticks down to the bottom left to calibrate the gym The indicator lights on the drone will blink quickly and turn solid, indicating calibration is completed.

Tips:
To ensure a stable flight, we suggest that the pilot calibrates the gyro every time after pairing the drone and after a crash.

One Key Start/ Landing

  1. Short press the One Key Start; Landing button, the propellers will start spinning at low speed. Slowly push the throttle joystick up to take off.
  2. When the drone is flying, short press the same button again, the drone will automatically land on the ground.

FUNCTION DETAILS

Emergency Stop
The Emergency Stop function can be only used in case of emergen­cy during the flight to avoid any of damage or injury.

Press the upper left and upper right button of the transmitter at the same time, the motors will stop immediately.

Speed Switch
This drone comes with 4 speed levels (Low/ Medium/ High/ Expert). Press the Speed Switch button on the back of transmitter to switch the speed. “Di” indicates Low speed, “Di Di” indicates Medium speed, “Di Di Di” indicates High speed and “Di Di Di Di” indicates Expert speed. (The Low Speed is default speed mode.)

Trimmer Function

F/B Sideward Fly Trim:
If the drone drifts forward, press the Backward Trimmer button to re-balance the drone. If the drone drifts backward, press the Forward Trimmer button to re–balance the drone.

L/R Sideward Fly Trim:
If the drone drifts left, press the Right Trimmer button to re–balance the drone. If the drone drifts to right, press the Left Trimmer button to re–balance the drone.

Take Photo/Video

  • Take Photo: Short press the Photo button on the transmitter to take pictures. One beep can be heard from the transmitter, indicating the camera has successfully taken one photo.
  • Record Video: Short press the Video button on the transmitter, two beeps from the transmitter will be heard. This tells you that the camera has started recording video. You can exit the recording by short pressing the same button again.

Do not take photos during the recording, which will interrupt the recording.

Camera Angle Adjustment

As shown in the figure above, you can long press the Photo button to make the lens up, and long press the Video button to make the lens down. (The camera has an 90″ tilt range.)

360° Flip

  • When you get familiar with all the functions of the drone, you can try this amazing flip mode. When you fiy the drone at least IO feet, short press the  360 Flip button on the transmitter, then push the right joystick Forward/
  • Backward or Left/ Right, and the drone will do a fiip towards the corresponding direction.
  • If you are in MODE I, push the right joystick Left/Right or push the left joystick Forward/Backward, and the drone will do a flip towards the corresponding direction.

Headless Mode

  1. After pairing/ calibration, or during the flight of the drone, long press the Headless Mode button on the transmitter. The transmitter will beep once to indicate that drone is in Headless Mode.
  2. Press the Headless Mode button again, and you will hear a “Di Di”, which indicates the drone exits the Headless Mode.

Please make sure the pilot to stay in the same orientation as the drone head faces when the drone is pairing.

Under Headless Mode, the forward direction is the direction that the head of drone faces when the drone is pairing. In order to make sure the pilot can tell drone’s direction, we recommend that pilots to stay in the same orientation as the drone’s head faces when the drone pairing. When the pilot pushes the direction joystick forward, the drone will fiy forward. If the pilot pushes the direction joystick backward, the drone will fly towards him/her. If the pilot move the right stick left/right, the drone will move left/right relative to you.

BATTERY WARNING:
