Product Usage Instructions

Proper Use:
This product is suitable for controlling various functions such as switching, dimming, and raising/lowering blinds in environments like office buildings, public buildings, and hotels. Ensure that it is not used with electric heating or cooling systems.

Installation:

Secure the device with a circuit breaker of type B or C (EN 60898-1) with a maximum rating of 16 A and 6 kA.
Avoid connecting mains voltage or any other external voltages to the extension inputs.
During installation, maintain adequate insulation (minimum 5.5 mm) between mains voltage and the bus or extensions.

Connection:

General information

The flush-mounted heating actuator E1 of the LUXORliving series complies with EN 60730-2-9 when installed as intended.
It can be installed with conventional push buttons/switches in flush-mounted boxes.
Direct connection of electric heating or coo-ling systems
Binary input for floating contacts, such as push buttons, window contacts, temperature sensors (I2)
The temperature sensors 9070496, 9070459 and the floor sensor 9070321 available as accessories can be connected to I2.
The LUXORliving series is a range of compact devices for switching, dimming, heating and controlling.

When used in a KNX system, programming is completed with the ETS.

Proper use

The flush-mounted heating actuators control electric heating or cooling systems.
If potential-free push buttons or switches are connected to the inputs, they can carry out various functions, such as switching, dimming, raising/lowering blinds etc.
For use in residential and other buildings (office buildings, public buildings, hotels etc.)
Only for use in closed, dry rooms

Installation

For installation in conventional flush- mounted boxes (according to DIN 49073).

Connection

Disconnect power source.
Secure the device with an upstream type B or type C circuit breaker (EN 60898-1) of max. 16 A 6 kA.
Protect against accidental contact during installation.
- Do not connect mains voltage or other external voltages to the extension inputs!
- During installation, ensure there is adequate insulation between mains voltage and bus or extensions (min. 5.5 mm).
- The bistable relays used in this product can change their state due to strong vibrations, e. g. during transport.

Important: Apply the bus voltage first before supplying the outputs with voltage. Non-observance may result in damage to the connected consumers.
