BEFORE USING FOR THE FIRST TIME

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

• This appliance is intended for household purposes only, not for commercial use.
• Please do not force the grinder on or off or try to speed up the grinder.
• Please do not touch the grinding head.
• Please hold the body of the grinding machine tightly when using it.
• If the mill is not working properly, please do not disassemble it. There are no spare parts included
• Non-rechargeable batteries are not to be recharged.
• Batteries are to be inserted with the correct polarity
• This is not a toy. Keep away from children.

TROUBLESHOOTING

If the grinder does not work or stops in the middle of grinding:

• Please check that the batteries are installed correctly.
• Please check that there is sufficient battery power.

BATTERY INSTALLATION

• Hold the mill tightly and rotate the battery cover anticlockwise to open.

• Insert 4 AAA batteries(not included) according to the polarity marking adjacent to battery compartment of product.
  

• Close the battery cover and rotate clockwise to lock.
  Make sure the marking of the battery cover is aligned with the marking of the mill. See the right picture.

IMPORTANT

• Do not mix old and new batteries.
• Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon zinc) , or rechargeable (NI-cad, Ni-Mh, etc.) batteries.
• Remove exhausted or dead batteries from the product and dispose of properly.
• Remove batteries if product will not be used for a long time.
• Do not modify or attempt to repair the product. This may cause fire, electric shock, or injury.

HOW TO USE

1. Push down the back cover to access the salt and pepper compartments. Carefully pour in coarse salt and peppercorns, replace the back cover and push up to lock in (see Figure 1)
   

2. Press the “S” button to make the left grinding head work, and press the “P” button to make the right grinding head work (see Figure 2)
   

3. Coarseness can be adjusted by twisting the knobs on the bottom of the mill. Twist the knobs clockwise to make the grinds finer and counter-clockwise to make the grinds coarser. Please note that over-twisting the knobs in either direction may cause the mill to not function properly (see Figure 3)
