Product Usage Instructions
Power Supply and Setup
- Insert the DC-003 Power Socket into the designated slot on the circuit board.
- Turn the Toggle Switch to ON to activate the power supply.
Adjust LED Flashing Speed
- Press the Black Button to increase the LED flashing speed.
- Note: The speed will cycle back to the lowest speed if you continue pressing the button after reaching the maximum speed.
- Note: The speed setting is not saved, so you’ll need to readjust it every time you restart the power.

Use Methods
- Input 5V work voltage from DC-003 Power Socket.
- Turn the Toggle Switch to ON/OFF work power.
- Press the Black Button to increase the LED Flashing Speed. Note: the speed will switch to the lowest speed if you continue to press the button when reaching the maximum speed.
- Note: There is no memory function for speed, and every time the power is restarted, the speed needs to be readjusted.

Installation Tips
- The user needs to prepare the welding tool first.
- Soldering iron (<50 Watt)
- Rosin core (“radio”) solder
- Wire cutters
- Wire strippers
- Screwdriver
- Please be patient until the installation is complete.
- The package is a DIY kit. It needs finish installed by the user.
- The soldering iron can’t touch the components for a long time(1.0 seconds), otherwise, it will damage the components.
- Pay attention to the positive and negative of the components.
- Strictly prohibit short circuits.
- User must install the LED according to the specified rules.Otherwise, some LEDs will not light.
- Install complex components preferentially.
- Make sure all components are in the right direction and right place.
- It is strongly recommended to read the installation manual before starting installation!!!
- Please wear anti-static gloves or anti-static wristbands when installing electronic components.
Installation Steps(Please be patient and install!!!)
Step 1: Install 1pcs SMD components SOP-16 DX158 FM Receiver at IC1.
Verify and confirm the installation direction of DX158. There is a dot mark on
one end of the IC and there is a white dot mark on the PCB silkscreen where
the IC can be placed on.
These two marks correspond to each other and are used to specify the
installation direction of the IC.
Step 2: Randomly choose a pad on the PCB, and then melt the solder on this pad.
Step 3: Fix DX158: Use a soldering iron to melt the tin on the pad just
now and hold DX158 with tweezers in the other hand to place/press on IC1 to
prevent movement Take care to match and align each pad. Then remove the
soldering iron.
Then remove tweezers after solder tin cooling and solidification.
Step 4: Connect other pads on DX158 to pads on PCB by tin and soldering iron.
Step 5: Install 1pcs 6*6mm Black Button at S2.
Step 6: Install 1pcs DC-003 Power Socket at DC1.
Step 7: Identify the positive(anode) and negative(cathode) lead of the LED. The leads of the LED must be installed correctly, otherwise the LED cannot be turned on. Here are four methods as following:
- According to the length of the LED lead to distinguish. The longer pin is positive(anode) lead. The shorter pin is negative(cathode) lead.
- To identify the negative(cathode) of the LED is to look into the plastic case where one can see that the negative(cathode) is much thicker/bigger inside the plastic case than the anode lead.
- Identify the edge of the plastic case. The negative(cathode) lead of the LED should be the pin nearest the flat on the plastic case.
- Test by 3V battery or multimeter. The pin is positive(anode) lead which is connected to a positive of 3V if the LED can light up after connecting the 3V power supply. (LED can not be powered directly from 3V for a short time:less than 0.5second)
- Note: If the flat on package disagrees with other indicators(short lead, large cathode lead end), then other indicators take priority. I.e. if the flat disagrees with the lead length, use the lead length as the cathode indicator.
Step 8: Install 81pcs 4mm Red LED at L1-L81.
Note: the shorter pin connects to the flat edge pad as shown.
Step 9: Install SMD 0805 0.1~ 1uF Capacitor at C1.
Note: this capacitor can also be ignored and does not require
installation.
