Mini Basic Movement Detector
Instructions
Particular cost advantage with KNX installations
JUNG simplifies the systematic movement detection in a KNX installation: the
Mini Basic movement detector is reduced to the essentials and detects
movements. The detector has a PIR sensor and uses it to accurately detect
movements through 360 degrees independent of brightness. The sensor works
reliably both tangentially (3 m) and radially (2.5 m): it detects movements
across the detection area just as accurately as people moving towards or away
from the sensor.
As a result, it is ideally suited for cost and energy-efficient room control,
e.g. in hotel rooms to fulfil the occupancy function there directly and
simply. The Mini Basic movement detector is integrated into a KNX
installation. In conjunction with other KNX components, such as the power
supply with IP interface, it takes on presence detection replacing a key-card
switch: when a guest enters a room, it registers the movement, the air
conditioning cools the room and the lights are switched on.
Parametrisation, configuration of the shut-off delay or brightness settings
are made using the connected KNX devices such as the JUNG KNX Multistation or
a push-button interface.
Using a SELV, the Mini Basic movement detector receives the electrical power
it needs. The Mini Basic movement detector convinces with its restrained,
high-quality design. From the outside, only its lens (Ø 35 mm) and design ring
(together Ø 52 mm) can be seen. In this way it has a discrete effect and still
detects all movements reliably.
