Parts List
- (x1) Left assembly
- (x1) Right assembly
- (x6) Coupler nuts 8mm x 24mm
- (x6) M8-1.25 x 20mm bolts
- (x6) 8mm lock washers
- (x1) Light bracket (if optioned with upper footrest)
- (x1) M5-0.8 x 14mm (if optioned with upper footrest)
- (x1) M5-0.8 x 25mm (if optioned with upper footrest)
Tool List
- 10mm wrench (if optioned with upper footrest)
- 11mm wrench
- 13mm wrench
- 6mm allen
- T25 torx (if optioned with upper footrest)
- T30 torx (if optioned with upper footrest)
- 5/16” allen
- 1/4″ allen
- Thread locker
Installation Instructions (if kit not optioned with upper footrest, skip
to step 2)
Install light relocation bracket
- This light relocation bracket is only needed on the left side of the bike
a. Remove the left LED fog light using a T30 torx and 10mm wrench
b. Remove the (x2) T25 torx bolts holding the bracket onto the LED fog
light
c. Install the light relocation bracket and original light bracket as
shown below
* Notice only one of the holes is threaded, that goes to the rear (#3)
* **#1:** M5-0.8 x 14mm bolt (provided from kit)
* **#2:** M5-0.8 x 25mm bolt (provided from kit)
* **#3:** M5-0.8 x 20mm bolt (OEM stock) d. Reinstall the light and bracket on to the motorcycle with the original T30 bolt and nut
e. Aim the fog light
Remove the exhaust nuts
a. Remove the (x3) 11mm nuts on the exhaust
Install the coupler nuts
a. Install the three coupler nuts using a 13mm wrench
Place the peg assembly into position
a. The recessed holes on the peg assembly go over the coupler nuts
b. Start with the front side first, then rotate the pack into place
Install the peg assembly
a. Screw the (x3) 8mm bolts into the coupler nuts
- Use the included lock washers
- Use blue thread locker
Optional Steps
Adjust the stop for the upper footrest
a. If the open position of the footrest needs adjusted, it can be
adjusted with the eccentric stop
b. Move the fog light out of the way (if equipped)
c. Loosen the stop bolt
d. Rotate the footrest to the desired location
e. Rotate the stop into the footrest
f. Tighten the stop
Adjust the stop for the lower footrest
a. If the open position of the footrest needs adjusted, it can be
adjusted with the eccentric stop
b. Loosen the stop bolt
c. Rotate the footrest to the desired location
d. Rotate the stop into the mount
e. Tighten the stop
Repeat for the other side
Care and Maintenance
Routinely remove the arm from the mount to clean and re grease the following important locations:
a. The spring and spring hole on the mount
b. The area on the mount and arm where the ball rotates.
