Installation Instructions
- Place the Sahara Peg into the valve cover.
- Slide the Sahara Peg retaining clip into the valve cover fromthe back.
- Using (x4) 6-32 bolts, attach the retaining clip to the SaharaPeg. Do not over-tighten to avoid stripping the threads.
- Repeat the above steps for the other side.
Care and Maintenance
- Periodically check the tightness of the retaining clip bolts.
- Apply grease to the pivot and detent mechanism regularly to ensure smooth operation.

Installation Instructions
- Remove the spark plug cover from the valve cover
- Pull on the area where the spark plug wires traverse through the plastic, pull out, and forward
- Select the correct assembly for each side
- R or L is engraved on the back of the mounts
- Using a 7/64” allen key, remove the (x4) 6-32 bolts holding the retaining clip onto the Sahara assembly
- Take note of the orientation of the retainer clip for assembly later
- Place the Sahara Peg into the valve cover
- Slide the Sahara Peg retaining clip into the valve cover from the back
- Using (x4) 6-32 bolts, attach the retaining clip to the Sahara Peg
- Use threadlocker
- Tighten bolts evenly to ensure proper peg fit
- When bolts are tight there will still be space between the retaining clip and the mount, do not continue to tighten to try to eliminate this gap and strip the threads
- Repeat for the other side
