ANATOMY OF A KLEEN OPENER
GENERAL INSTALLATION:
Assembling the Arm
Kit comes with LEFT & RIGHT side assemblies. Prior to installing Kleen Openers
on the dumpster, the adjusting channel should be set into the adjusting tube
to secure it during mounting.
Mounting the Bracket
Identify your dumspter sides from the front. Lift lid up all the way so it rests on the back of the dumpster. Installation is the same for left & right sides.
Prior to mounting, ensure 1/2″ bolts are unscrewed enough so bolt ends and Compression Bracket are flush with the inside of the Mounting Bracket.
Hold Kleen Opener assembly by Adjustment Tube. With one hand holding the Compression Bracket out of the way of TOP RAIL, position mounting bracket at an angle. Then move bracket down to ensure it is FLAT with TOP RAIL and lower L shaped Bracket is below bottom outer edge of Dumpster’s Top Rail.
With Hand Tightening or 3/4″ Sockiet, fasten bolts until Compression Bracket
Prongs are evenly in contact with siding.
Apply Red Threadlocker to about 3 threads on each bolt behind the Compression
Bracket.
Continue fastening bolts with 3/4″ Socket, being sure to alternate between each bolt to ensure even pressure. Tighten until Compression Bracket Prongs are firmly pressed into sides of dumpster. Give one final 1/4 turn to securely fasten.
