Safety information
Please read the safety instructions carefully before using the product for the first time and keep the instructions for future reference.
- This product is not a toy. Keep it out of reach of children.
- Keep product out of the reach of children and pets to avoid chewing and swallowing.
- Product operating and storage temperature is from 0 degree Celsius to 40 degree Celsius. Under and over this temperature might affect the function.
- Never open the product. Touching the inside electrics can cause electric shock. Repairs or service should only be performed by qualified personnel.
- Do not expose to heat, water, moisture, direct sunlight!
- Please protect your ears against loud volume. Loud volume can damage your ears and risk in hearing loss.
- Bluetooth wireless technology operates within a range of about 10 m (30 feet). The maximum communication distance may vary depending on the presence of obstacles (people, metal objects, walls, etc. or the electromagnetic environment.
- Microwaves emitting from a Bluetooth device may affect the operation of electronic medical devices.
- The unit is not waterproof. If water or foreign objects enter the unit, it may result in fire or electric shock If water or a foreign object enters the unit, stop use immediately.
- Do not use non original accessories together with the product as this can make the product functionality abnormal.
Warning : This product includes lithium polymer batteries. Please notice that DAB signal can be weaken MUCH dependingon the type ofbuilding you are living in. (fx. It can be hard to catch proper signalwhen being in a concrete building.) Signal can also be different in different areas of the country. Please check your local transmitter to get the best signal in your area.
PRODUCT OVERVIEW

BASIC OPERATION
Connect one end of the type-c cable to the DC IN Socket at the rear of the unit and the other end to an adaptor (Recommended to use an adaptor over 18W) . The unit is also rechargeable and can run via the built-in lithium battery. Press the POWER button to turn the radio on, “Welcome to Digital Radio” will be shown and for initial use, the DAB mode will be selected and a full scan will be performed.The display will show “Scanning” and a slide bar that indicates the progress of the scanning.
Navigation of the menu
Use the following controls to navigate the menu and select the required
settings: Press and hold the INFO/MENU button to enter the menu options. Press
the BACKWARDS and FORWARDS buttons to navigate the options. Press the
OK/PLAY/PAUSE button to confirm. Return to the previous menu by briefly
pressing the INFO/MENU button again.
Description of the menu:
SYSTEM SETTING
Equalizer:
Normal, Classic, Jazz, Pop, Rock, Speech, my EQ (Treble / Bass -7 ~ + 7)
Time
- Set Time /Date: Manually set the time and date
- Auto Update: Update from Any, Update from Dab, Update from FM,No Update
- Set 12/24 hour:set 12 or 24 hours
- Set date format: (MM-DD-YYYY / DD-MM-YYYY)
Backlight
- Timeout:on, 10, 20, 30, 45, 60, 90, 120, 180 sec(Default: 30 sec)
- On level: High, Medium, Low
- Dim level: High, Medium, Low
Language
English (default), Espanol, Francais, Italiano, Nederlands, Norsk, Polski,
Suomi, Dansk, Deutsch.
Factory Reset:
Reset the device to its factory settings. Factotry Reset? Yes or No. (OR reset
the device with the aid of a pointed object and the reset pinholeon the back
of the device. To do so, simply insert a thin object into the reset pinhole.)
Storing stations and tuning to DAB /FM stations
Store up to 40 presets of DAB and FM stations
- First tune tothe desired station by pressing BACKWARDS or FORWARDS button.
- Press and hold the PRESET button until “PRESET STORE” appears.
- Press BACKWARDS or FORWARDS button to select a memory slot from 1-40.
- Then press OK/PLAY/PAUSE button to store the station, the display will show “Preset XX stored”.
- To recall DAB/ FM stations, press the PRESET button.
- Press BACKWARDS or FORWARDS button to select a preset station from 1-40.
- Then press OK/PLAY/PAUSE button to confirm, the station is played.
Viewing information on the display
In DAB or FM mode, press INFO /MENU button to display the following information in this order: Signal strength(DAB), programmesetion, ensemble name(DAB), channel number/ frequency, signal error (DAB), bit rate (DAB), codec /DAB version (DAB), time, date. In AUX IN and BLUETOOTH mode, press INFO/MENU button to display the date and battery capacity data.
DAB RADIO
Press MODE button to select DAB mode, then press SCAN button to search for all
available radio stations. Once the scan has finished, the radio broadcasts the
first alphanumerically found station. Press BACKWARDS or FORWARDS buttons to
select the found stations (Station list), then press the OK/PLAY/PAUSE button
to confirm the selection. If no stations are found after auto scan, the radio
will display “No DAB station”. In this case, adjust the position of the
antenna and relocate the unit for better signal reception.
Manual tune
The Manual tune menu option allows the user to select a particular channel and
display the signal strength for that channel.
FM RADIO
Press MODE button to select FM mode, then press SCAN button to search for all
available radio stations. Or press and hold either the BACKWARDS or FORWARDS
button to start a quick search backwards / forwards.
Manual Scan
To manually search for any radio station, briefly press the BACKWARDS or
FORWARDS button to set the frequency of the next station straight away, each
press will change the frequency by 0.5MHz.
Scan setting : All stations or Strong stations
Choose whether all stations (including those with a weak signal) or just
stations with a strong signal should be searched for.
Audio Setting: “Forced mono” or “Stereo allowed”
If the radio signal is weak, choose “Forced mono” to get better sound quality.
BLUETOOTH
Press MODE button to select Bluetooth mode. “Pairing” appears on the display.
Activate Bluetooth pairing mode of phone/tablet, search for the WRD-60 and
click to pair. Adjust volume at WRD-60 or the connected device. Briefly press
the BACKWARDS or FORWARDS button to select previous or next track during
playback. Briefly press the OK/ PLAY/ PAUSE button to pause or play, or press
and hold SCAN button to disconnect or reconnect Bluetooth.
AUX IN
Connect the AUX IN socket to another audio device via an AUX cable (not
included). Press MODE button to select Aux In mode. Press the VOLUME +/-
button to adjust the volume to your desired sound output level.
