Use & Operation

4.2 Operating modes
This device can operate in two different modes.
Battery mode – Runs the device on battery power without any additional power
supply. To run in battery mode, be sure to first charge the battery.
Direct power mode – Runs the device via the 12V DC power adapter (attachment
5). This device is capable of charging while operating, just make sure the
battery switch is on.
4.3 Operating precautions
- During operation ensure that all air inlets and exhaust (front, sides and bottom) are kept free from obstructions and closure.
- Attach the supplied regulator by rotating the t-wing nut in a “clockwise” direction, do not over tighten.
- During set up check all connections and fittings for leaks using soapy water. Never use flame. There is a gas leakage when foam blown out, generated and increasing. At this time, measures should be taken immediately to prevent continued gas leakage.
- Remove the cylinder and turn off the device immediately if there is still a leak.

Initial Set Up
6.1 Remove all components from the box and place the device on a solid, non-
combustible surface. Straighten out all hoses and remove any kinks or twists.
6.2 Screw the gas regulator (attachment #1) in a clockwise direction on to the
gas inlet (connection point #1) on the back of the device and secure tightly.
Note: Check the black rubber seal, make sure has been fitted onto the gas
inlet pipe before connecting the gas regulator (attachment #1}.
6.3 Screw the propane tank onto the gas regulator (attachment #1) and tighten
securely. Check for leaks with soapy water (not a flame). Remove the propane
tank, re-tighten all connections and test again if gas leak is detected.
6.4 With the power switch set to the “OFF” position, plug the pump power
connector (attachment #2) into pump DC power input (connection point #5).
6.5 Connect the pump hose (attachment #2) to the water inlet (connection point
2/connection point#3).

Lower the filter end of the pump until it is fully submerged in a suitable
water reservoir.
Note: Do not use wafer directly from river, lake, or the ocean. Do not
use salty water with this device.
6.7 Connect the shower head attachment (attachment #3) to the water outlet
(connection point #5).

Press shower head flow switch to the “ON” position.
Using The Shower
7.1 At the bottom of the device, turn on the battery switch, turn on the main
power switch on the control panel.
Note: The bottom switch only controls the battery. When the switch is
off, if an external power source is connected and the device can be used, but
there is no way to charge the battery.
Tips: You can turn off the switch to protect the battery life if you do
not use the device for a long time.
7.2 Check the battery charge level to see if sufficient power is available .
If not, connect to the auto recharger cord (attachment #5).
7.3 Position the gas temperature control in the central position between MIN
and MAX. Then, press the pump switch and water will start to flow within a few
minutes. Press the shower head switch to the “OFF” position, the burner will
extinguish while pump will continue to operate around 2 minutes. When the
device has been switched on for over 2 minutes without water coming in, it
will power off automatically.
7.4 You can hear the electric ignition when igniting the burner.
When lit, the flame icon on the display will illuminate and the water outlet
temperature read out will increase.
7.5 Adjust the temperature by turning the gas temperature control until the
desired level is reached.
7.6 The water flow can be stopped by sliding the flow switch to the “OFF”
position. The burner will furn off and the pump will continue to operate.
7.7 Press the main power switch to turn off the device.
Note: Water remaining in the heat exchanger while the flow is stopped may
become very hot. When the flow is resumed, check the temperature output to
make sure it is safe to use. Once the user has finished using the device,
slide the flow switch to the “ON” position and press the “pump” button to stop
the flow of water to the device.
