The Helpy Super Compact is an autodialer specifically designed for

Product Usage Instructions
Connecting the Emergency Call Buttons:
To connect the emergency call buttons, ensure they are voltage-free contact
pushbuttons or powered pushbuttons. Configure inputs AL2 and AL3 as alarm
inputs with the Inputs setting programming. Connect the pushbuttons following
the provided diagrams.
Connecting the Filter Input:
Connect the filter contacts according to the diagrams provided in the manual.
Connecting the Indicator Lights:
The Helpy Super Compact comes with built-in indicator lights that switch on
during specific events. External indicator lights can also be connected.
Configure outputs OUT1 and OUT2 as indicator light outputs with the Outputs
setting programming. Follow the provided diagram to connect external indicator
lights.
Other Connections:
Connect the telephone line to the LTI terminals for PSTN-line or universal
gateway (2G/3G/4G) connectivity. Connect the reset contact based on the modes
provided in the table. OUT1 and OUT2 are open collector outputs that can be
configured with the Outputs setting programming. Connect external devices
accordingly.

CONNECTING THE EMERGENCY CALL BUTTONS
It is possible to connect voltage-free contact pushbuttons or powered pushbuttons.
Note:
to use inputs AL2 and AL3, they must be configured as alarm inputs with the
“Inputs setting” programming (codes 390 or 55).
- Connect, following one of the diagrams shown below, the pushbutton.

Connect, following one of the diagrams shown below, the filter contacts.
CONNECTING THE INDICATOR LIGHTS
- The GIVEN ALARM INDICATOR LIGHT (yellow) switches on after pressing the emergency button to indicate the beginning of the alarm procedure.
- The RECEIVED ALARM INDICATOR LIGHT (green) switches on when communication is established.
- Helpy Super Compact comes with built-in indicator lights. It is also possible to connect external indicator lights.
Note:
The outputs OUT1 and OUT2 are configured as indicator light outputs with the
“Outputs setting” programming (code 90075).
- Connect, following the diagram shown below, the external indicator lights to the Helpy Super Compact.
OTHER CONNECTIONS
CONNECTING THE TELEPHONE LINE

- Connect the telephone line to LTI terminals.

CONNECTING THE MICROPHONE
- Helpy Super Compact comes with a built-in speaker unit.
- A cable with a microphone can also be connected to the Helpy Super Compact.
- Connect a cable with a microphone to MIC2 and – terminals.
CONNECTING THE POWER SUPPLY
- Connect the external (10 Vdc – 30 Vdc) power supply to the + and — terminals.
Helpy Super Compact lights up and the device status LED starts flashing.

MINIMUM OPERATIONS TO VERIFY PROPER INSTALLATION

PROGRAMMING
Note: if the keypad is not present, please use another programming method (see the next chapter).- Access to programming: dial on the keypad. The programming-activated message will be heard.
- Program a telephone number for the emergency-call alarm: dial
. - Record the identification message of the specific elevator, which is meant to contain all necessary information concerning the elevator location: dial and, after the “Correct” message, pronounce the message and dial .
- To listen again to the previous message: dial .
- Make an external call to check if the PSTN line or the universal gateway is properly working: dial 0 and digit the telephone number to make a test call; dial to end the call.

TESTING THE ALARM PROCEDURE
- Press the emergency call button for more than 3 seconds (factory value). The alarm starts.

ANSWERING THE ALARM
Note: the activation mode of communication with the trapped person can be configured with the “Two-way communication mode during an alarm” programming (code 78).- 1st mode: automatic two-way communication established after messages (factory default)
- Answer by the called party. The two-way communication mode will be activated after the voice messages.
- Speak with the trapped person.
- 2nd mode: two-way communication established after input of “Communication activation” code
- Answer by the called party. The voice messages will be heard.
- Press 0 to speak with the trapped person.
- 3rd mode: immediate and automatic two-way communication (no messages)
- Answer by the called party.
- Speak with the trapped person.

RESETTING THE ALARM
Note: the alarm reset mode can be configured with the “Alarm reset mode” programming (code 77).- 1st mode: reset by “End” code (factory default)
- Press 9 to end the alarm.
- 2nd mode: automatic reset
- Hang up (or press 9 ) to end the alarm.
- 3rd mode: automatic reset with local acknowledgment
- Hang up to end the call.
- Close the reset input to end the alarm. An end-of-alarm call will be generated.
- Answer by the called party.
- Press 9.
Without local acknowledgment, the alarm is automatically ended after 6 hours.
Note:
- The reset input can be configured with the “Inputs setting” programming (codes 390 or 55).
- In case it should not be possible to stop the alarm procedure remotely (i.e. the entered telephone number is incorrect) simply dial *
# (by factory default: ) on the keypad.

In the tables below:
- INST indicates that the programming is allowed for the installer
- OPER indicates that the programming is allowed by the maintenance technician
- factory default values are highlighted in bold

Local programming via e-stant GO app
- It is possible to program Helpy Super Compact, via Bluetooth, with a smartphone by using the e-stant GO app.
- e-stant GO can be downloaded from an official store (Google Play or App Store).
Local programming via e-stant software
It is possible to program Helpy Super Compact via computer by using an
USB-C cable and the dedicated e-stant software.
e-stant software also allows to:
- update the firmware of the Helpy Super Compact
- customize the messages of the Helpy Super Compact
- set a micro-SD card to use for programming, customizing the messages and updating the firmware of the Helpy Super Compact.

Local programming via micro-SD card
The micro-SD card properly set allows to:
- program the Helpy Super Compact
- update the firmware of the Helpy Super Compact
- customize the messages of Helpy Super Compact.

Remote programming
It is possible to program the Helpy Super Compact remotely: – by telephone
(via DTMF tones)

- Listen to the elevator identification message, if present.

- The Given alarm indicator light and the Received alarm indicator light flash in opposition to indicate the failure of the automatic test call.
- The flashing sequence ends after the next successful test call or emergency call.
