The Sami wearable WS-2379 is a high-quality wearable device developed by Sami since 2015. It is designed to provide optimum results and comes with the best components available in the market. The package includes the wearable device, a USB Magnetic charging cable, and an instruction manual.

Description of the Wearable

The wearable features a 1.78″ AMOLED touchscreen display with a resolution of 368 x 448 pixels. It has a built-in vibrating motor, heart rate sensor, gravity sensor, and GPS. The device is Bluetooth v5.0 enabled and is water- resistant up to 3ATM (resists water up to 30 meters). It has a built-in Li- Polymer 230mAh battery that provides a standby time of 7-12 days and a working time of 4-8 days. The device weighs 38g.

Product Usage Instructions

Charging

To charge the device, follow these steps:

Connect the device to a computer or laptop using the USB Magnetic charging cable.
Position the charging points on the back of the device in contact with the magnetic charging cable.
Use only the USB cable included with the wearable.
If using a power adapter for charging, ensure that its output is 5V, 1A.
The device takes approximately 1:30 – 2 hours to fully charge.
Please fully charge the device before using it.
Take care not to have the charger connected to AC and the magnets touching any metallic surface, as this can cause high heating of the cable and damage it.

Power On / Power Off

To turn on the smart band, follow these steps:

Long press the Power On/Off button for a few seconds until it powers on.

To turn off the smart band, follow these steps:

Long press the Power On/Off button for a few seconds until the Power Off icon displays.
Select “Yes” to power off.
Alternatively, on the home screen of your smart band, tap and slide from top to bottom to enter the shortcut menu.
Tap the settings icon and scroll down to find the power off icon.
Tap on it and then select “Yes” to power off.

Control

To control the device, follow these steps:

On the touchscreen display, short tap to select.
Tap and slide left/right/up/down to change between different menu pages.
Short press the Power On/Off button to return.
Long press the Power On/Off button to power on/off the device.

Getting Started

To turn on notifications on the app manually:

On the DA FIT homepage, select the Settings icon (middle icon situated at the bottom of the interface).
Select “Notifications”.
Turn on all the app notifications you want to activate.

Note: The above instructions are for iPhone users.

CHARGING

Connect the device to a computer or laptop with the USB Magnetic cable for charging. Put in contact the magnetic charging cable with the charging points positioned in the
back of your device. Kindly use only the USB cable included with the wearable. If you use a power adapter for charging, the output of the power adapter should be 5V, 1A. Charging time: 1:30 – 2 hours. Please charge the device fully before using it. Take care with the magnet side of the cable, if you connect to the AC and you have contact with a metal surface, you may damage the charging cable.

NOTE: Do not have the charger connected to AC and the magnets touching any metallic surface, this will create a high heating of the cable and will damage it.

HOW TO POWER ON / POWER OFF?

To turn ON the smart band, long press the Power On/Off button for few seconds to make it Power On.
To turn OFF the smart band, long press the Power On/Off button for few seconds until the Power OFF icon displays, then select “Yes” to make it Power Off; or on the home screen of your smart band , tap and slide from top to bottom to enter in the shortcut menu; tap in the settings icon and scroll down to find the power off icon, tap on it and then select “Yes” to make it Power Off

HOW TO CONTROL?

On the display screen(touchscreen), short tap the touchscreen to select; tap and slide left/ right/ up/ down to change between the different menu pages.
Short press the Power On/Off button to return. Long press the Power On/Off Button to make it Power On/Off.

For Android

How to obtain the BT Connection APK (DA FIT) Search for the DA FIT APP in the Play Store; download it and install it in your Android smartphone, or go to our website www.sami.es and download the application.
Installation of the DA FIT APK.
When installing the DA FIT application on your Android, you must allow all the Application Permissions, allow this DA FIT app auto run.
The first time you run this DA FIT, it will ask you to Enable Notifications, please tap OK and tap the DA FIT and confirm OK. You must tap OK/Allow/Pair/Yes/Confirm for any pop-up request. On your Android permission management, allow all application permissions.
How to make the wearable pair with your Android smart phone
First, turn on the Bluetooth of your Phone.
Second, run the DA FIT app on your Phone, on the home page of DA FIT, select “ADD A DEVICE”, the APP will search for new Bluetooth device(s), when the available Bluetooth device displays, please select WS-2379(the BT name of this device) to make it pair. The pairing will be finished in a few seconds. When you pair for the first time, the app DA FIT will ask you to fill some personal information such as gender/age/height/weight. When you finish select OK/Confirm/Allow for any pop-up request.
Now you can start using your desired functions of the smart band.
Important: To enable all notifications of different softwares such as WhatsAPP, Facebook, Skype, Twitter, you may need to turn on the notifications on the APP manually. On the DA FIT homepage, select the Settings icon (middle icon situated at the bottom of the interface) then select notifications, and turn on all the APP notifications you want to active.

For iPhone

Many other interface can be added or removed. To add component click on icon “+ component”, to delete keep pressed any icon and then click on “-”
NOTE: If the weather does not appear on the smart device after the Bluetooth pairing, please set your weather city at the Da Fit APP, then restart the smart device. The location service on your phone should be activated also.
Music Player control
Data can be sync from the wearable to the smart phone on the DA FIT APK/APP. Your smart phone will synchronized when the Bluetooth is paired with this device.

FUNCTIONS

PHONE CALL NOTIFICATION – vibrating reminder for incoming phone calls
MESSAGE NOTIFICATION – vibrating reminder for incoming messages, including SMS, WhatsApp, Facebook, Twitter, Skype messages, etc.
CLOCK SCREENS (Different home digital clocks) –More Clocks can be downloaded at the DA FIT APK/APP. You can select a picture from your mobile to set it as your clock screen. In the app go to the Settings menu, select “Watch Dials”, then select de editable dial, tap on the “edit” icon, tap on “select picture”, and select your desire picture. You should allow the picture settings permissions on your mobile.
FULL TIME STANDBY SCREEN: can have clock display even in standby. Activate this option in settings.
SLEEP MONITOR – built in.

When in new location, the GPS will calibrate automatically.

CLEANING

In order to avoid any damage on the plating or printing of your wearable please do not use any chemical product for cleaning such as alcohol 96º. We recommend you to use a slightly wet cloth.
