Installation Instructions
DELIVERY: Upon receipt of fixture and accessories (packed separately), thoroughly inspect for any freight damage. All damage should be reported to the delivery carrier. Compare the catalogue description listed on the packing slip with the fixture label on the inside of the housing to be sure you have received the correct merchandise.
This device complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to
the following two conditions:
(1) this device may not cause harmful interference, and (2) this device must
accept any interference received, including interference that may cause
undesired operation.
Tools Required: 1/8″ Allen wrench, Flathead Screwdriver, Philips
Screwdriver (NPT Conduit only)
Optional: Silicone Sealant
This wall pack is designed to be mounted to a recessed junction box or directly to the wall for wiring via a surface conduit.
Installing the luminaire
- Loosen the 2 captive screws in the front housing, using the 1/8” Allen wrench.
- Separate the front door from the back housing. The door needs to be opened more than 90° to disengage the hinges. Set the door aside on a clean surface, to avoid any damage or scratches.
- Prepare the back housing for installation by removing the centre knockout and mounting knock-out holes as needed (Page 4, Figure 1). Be careful not to touch the LEDs or damage the internal components in any way.
- Feed the supply wires through the centre knock-out hole.
- Install the back housing directly to the wall (recommended) using the wall anchor holes and appropriate screws (not provided). When installing a junction box, make sure it is rated for the weight of the luminaire.
- Apply silicone sealant (not provided) covering the mounting holes and hardware to prevent moisture entry. For Wet Location compliance, the fixture must be properly sealed. The fixture is designed to be watertight, but for extra protection, apply a bead of silicone caulking (not provided) to the perimeter of the fixture between the housing and the wall (top and two sides) leaving the bottom side clear of any caulking. The sealant will prevent any water coming down the wall from entering the fixture. Note: Do not apply a sealant to the bottom side of the fixture. Make sure all wiring access holes are sealed with weatherproof silicone sealant (not included).
- Make supply connections.
- If provided with an ALO device, adjust the dial to the required lumen level (use the ALO label on the backside of the door as a reference), by turning it using a small flathead screwdriver.
- Replace the front cover. Make sure the hinges are engaged properly.
- Tighten the 2 captive screws (30-35 lbs). Do not over-tighten. Over-tightening will cause stripping and void all warranties.
