Installation Instructions
- Prepare all necessary accessories before installation.
- Detach the adhesive strip from the back of the LED STRIP LIGHT.
- Stick the LED STRIP LIGHT onto a flat surface.
- The sensor of the Infrared (IR) receiver must be placed within visible range and should be less than 5M from the remote control. The round face of the IR sensor should be faced towards the remote control without obstacles.
- Connect the DC Plug of the USB cable into the DC socket of the Control Box.
- Connect the USB 2.0 Plug of USB cable into the USB socket of your TV or USB outlet of AC adapter (not included).

Battery Installation for Remote Control
A button cell battery (CR2025) is installed in the remote control. Pull out the PVC plate from the battery door to establish contact before use.
To replace/install a new battery in the remote control:
- If the remote control does not function properly or does not respond at all, the battery may be exhausted. Follow the instructions below to replace the battery.
- Open the battery door as shown in the instructions on the back of the remote control.
- Insert a button cell battery (CR2025). The battery should be positioned as shown in the following diagram.
Controlling with Your Phone
- Use one of the following methods to download the APP or search for “Magic Lantern” in the Apple or Google Play Store.
- Compatible with iOS & Android. Scan the QR code for a quick download.
Paring the LED Strip Light with Your Smartphone
- Turn on the LED STRIP LIGHTS.
- Keep the distance between the LED STRIP LIGHT and the smartphone within 32.8 feet.
- Activate the Bluetooth function on your smartphone, and the lights will automatically connect.
- After inserting the APP interface, if Bluetooth is not enabled, “an application wants to enable the Bluetooth function of this device” will appear. Click on (Allow).
LED Strip Customization
The LED strip supports cutting into different lengths and quantities of LEDs. After cutting, the APP must set the actual number of LEDs, and the setting position was in the top right corner as shown in the picture, otherwise, it influences the usage effect (for example, if the purchased LED strip has 90 LEDs, which is cut to 10 LEDs, then set the total number of points to 80 LEDs).
