INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

Compatible Vehicles:
Roofrack fit for Chevy Chevrolet Trailblazer 2021 2022 2023 compatible with flush rails and raised rails that have fixed points.

  1. Before installing, please check the direction of crossbars.
    Note: The direction can be confirmed by the side of crossbars. Larger portion of this shape is its front direction.

  2. Choose the shorter rear crossbar (B) and find the left rear (RL) and right rear (RR) mounting brackets (J).

  3. Use round head bolts (shorter) (F) and aluminum plates (E) to connect the mounting bracket (J) to therear crossbar (B).

  4. Place the rubber pad (C) on the mounting bracket (J).

  5. Place therear crossbar with the fixed mounting bracket (J) between the roof longitudinal beams.
    Note: Before fully fixing the roof rack. adjust the length of the roof rack bracket to fit the width of the roof.

  6. Use long screws (G) and washers (J) to connect the adjusted roof rack to the side member. Use a wrench (D) to secure theroof rack.

  7. The installation process of the front crossbar (A) is the same as that of the rear crossbar (B).

  8. Ensure that theroof rack is correctly installed on the roof longitudinal beam.

  9. After installing the crossbar and bracket, shake each crossbar to ensure the safety and stability of the luggage rack.

Before Installation Needs To Know:

  1. Read this instruction carefully before installation.
  2. Clean the roof and roof rails before installation.
  3. Operation of the vehicle with roof racks installed may cause a noticeable change in wind noise.

Load:

  1. Check your owner’s instruction manual for maximum roof load capacity.
  2. On road capacity = maximum roof load capacity – load carrier wight
  3. Off road capacity=on road capacity /1.5
  4. The load may not significantly exceed the load carrier’s width, and it should always distributed evenly across the load carrier and with the lowest possible center of gravity.
  5. Prepare specialized racks when carrying bikes, surfboards, kayaks, canoes, ski ‘board, and snowboards.
  6. When several surfboards are being carried, they should not be placed beside each other but instead one on top of the other.
  7. When carrying long items such as kayaks. canoes, surfboards. these shall be secured both at the front and the rearof the vehicle.
  8. All loose or removable parts of the load should be taken offbefore loading.
  9. The load. s security should be checked after a short distance, and thereafter at suitable intervals. Tighten the load’s securing straps whenever necessary.ALAVENTE E361SFJ100 Roof Rack Crossbar - Figure 11

Driving:

  1. Adapt your speed according to the load weight and the current driving conditions. such as the road conditions, wind speed and direction, traffic conditions and applicable speed limits, do not exceed 120 km/h (75 mph) in any circumstances, and observe speed limits.
  2. Drive over speed bumps with 10 km/h (6 mph) maximum speed.
  3. The vehicle’s total height increases when loading. note and observe height limits.
  4. The vehicle’s driving characteristics and braking performance change and its vulnerability to side-winds increases when a load is carried on the roof.
  5. Check the tension of the load carrier frequently, especially when traveling on rough roads.

Maintenance:

  1. Periodic check to ensure all hardware remains secure and tight.
  2. Roofracks must be removed before drive through an automatic car wash.
  3. Replace defective parts in time.
  4. When not in use, remove roof racks and store safely.
