Battery Power
Playing the AM/FM Radio
- Adjust FM/AM switch to the desired position.
- Adjust the Volume dial to turn on the radio and set the desired volume.
- Adjust the Tuning dial to tune the radio.
Radio Reception
- Adjust the position of the Telescopic FM Antenna to improve FM radio reception
- An AM antenna is built into the radio.
To improve AM radio reception, adjust the position of the unit.

How do we turn on the radio because i try turning it on by following instructions, but still won’t work?
Make sure the batteries are good and inserted correctly.

This runs on 2 AA batteries.
Does this radio sometimes loose signal and is it because the batteries need replacing?
The radio should not use reception based on weak batteries. It could be a faulty antenna connection are a broken or loose headphone wire. My GPX gets good reception even when the antenna is not fully extended.
Does this radio work for every Chicago am FM station with a good signal, and what kind of charger is the best use for it?
I’m from Virginia so I would not know that answer.
Are these the right dimensions? Thought it should be more like 3 X 4?? Inches
The Amazon listed dimensions are not correct. The radio is approx. 4 x 2 x 0.75 inches.
How do we turn on this radio because I insert batteries into it already, by following instructions and still didn’t turn on a sound?
Make sure that the polarity of the batteries are inserted correctly. Also try to turn the radio on without the headphones plugged in.
Is ideal for finding room cameras and microphones?****
Similar to a metal detector for digital waves, this tiny device may pick up other electronics in places they shouldn’t be while using AM waves. I found a camera in a friend’s house, but what’s even better is that it has an excellent range for when I want to listen to local music and news. It weighs nearly nothing and is small, but the finest feature are the headphones because of how well they fit. I now use these headphones with my apple devices after purchasing an iPhone adaptor. I’ll carry this $10 gadget with me wherever I go. I will undoubtedly continue to use my iPhone and iPod for other purposes, but I actually adore the quality of this.
The sound quality is superb?****
I didn’t expect much from this radio when I bought it, but to my surprise, it has amazing sound, and the digital tuning easily identified my difficult-to- tune-in station. I’m extremely happy with it, and I’ll recommend it to my coworkers if they desire a compact but effective personal computer.
