NOTE : These crossbars are designed to fit cars with raised rails and flush rails. They are not compatible with cars without rails.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Before installing, please check the direction of crossbars.

  2. Select the front crossbar bracket (B -Longer) and find the left-front and right-front installation brackets (C).

  3. Based on the vehicle’s design and roof structure, determine the installation position of the crossbars.

  4. Clean the roof thoroughly using a cleaning agent and cloth, ensuring there is no dust or other debris.

  5. Remove the cover of the clamp foot bracket:
    Method 1 : Pry open the cover directly.

    Method 2 : First, remove the anti-scratch pad, and then use a wrench to pry open the clamp foot cover from the hole.

  6. Secure the crossbars to the clamp foot brackets using screws.

  7. Adjust the length of the rack crossbar according to the width of the roof.

  8. Fix the clamp bracket to the roof side rail using long screws.

  9. Tighten all the screws and cover them with the caps.

  10. The installationstepsoftherearcrossbar bracket are the same as the front crossbar bracket.

  11. After installing the crossbar brackets, shake each crossbar to ensure its firmness. Ensure that it does not shake or loosen.

NOTE

  1. Vehicle Roof Structure: Understand the structure and design of your vehicle’s roof toensurethatthe roof rack crossbars can be safely and securely installed. Some vehicles may require additional installation accessories or adapters to install the crossbars.

Before Installation Needs To Know:

  1. Read this instruction carefully before installation.
  2. Clean the roof and roof rails before installation.
  3. Operation of the vehicle with roof racks installed may cause a noticeable change in wind noise.
  4. The short bolt(G) may be directly installed onto the crossbar(A OR B), but it needs to be removed first in order to install the bracket.

Load

  1. Check your owner’s instruction manual for maximum roof load capacity.
  2. On road capacity = maximum roof load capacity – load carrier weight
  3. Off road capacity=on road capacity /1.5
  4. The load may not significantly exceed the load carrier’s width, and it should always distributed evenly across the load carrier and with the lowest possible center of gravity.
  5. Prepare specialized racks when carrying bikes, surfboards, kayaks, canoes, ski board, and snowboards.
  6. When several surfboards are being carried, they should not be placed beside each other but instead one on top of the other.
  7. When carrying long items such as kayaks, canoes, surfboards, these shall be secured both at the front and the rear of the vehicle.
  8. All loose or removable parts of the load should be taken off before loading. The load, s security should be checked after a short distance, and thereafter at suitable intervals. Tighten the load’s securing straps whenever necessary.
    Before Installation

Driving

  1. Adapt your speed according to the load weight and the current driving conditions, such as the road conditions, wind speed and direction, traffi cconditions and applicable speed limits, do not exceed 120 km/h (75 mph)in any circumstances, and observe speed limits.
  2. Drive over speed bumps with 10 km/h (6 mph) maximums peed.
  3. The vehicle’s total height increases when loading, note and observe height limits.
  4. The vehicle’s driving characteristics and braking performance change and its vulnerability to side-winds increases when a load is carried on the roof.
  5. Check the tension of the load carrier frequently, especially when traveling on rough roads.

Maintenance

  1. Periodic check to ensure all hardware remains secure and tight.
  2. Roof racks must be removed before drive through an automatic car wash.
  3. Replace defective parts in time.
  4. When not in use, remove roof racks and store safely.
  5. After removing the roof racks, re-install the factory covers, bolts, andclips.
