POLAR LEAFIX Leak Fix Spray - HOW TO VIDEO

DIRECTIONS

Step One
Prepare the area, ensuring freedom from contaminants.
Mask area to protect from overspray.

Step Two
Shake can thoroughly for at least two minutes. Apply sparingly from a distance of 8 – 10 inches.

Step Three
Apply 2 – 3 coats to achieve total coverage, leaving 10 – 15 minutes between each application.

Step Four
Allow to dry for 24 hours to develop maximum paint hardness.

USES

Can be applied to most rigid surfaces including metal, plastics, fibreglass, PVC and concrete.

DO NOT USE ON:

Domestic drinking water systems
Freshly painted substrates
Near children or pets.
If unsure of suitability it is recommended to test compatibility before first use.

SPREADING RATE

14oz covers 21 sq ft. depending on the nature and porosity of the surface.
2-3 coats required.

DRYING TIME

Allow 10-15 minutes between each coat.
Minimum 24 hours for full paint hardness.

SHELF LIFE

Keeps for up to 2 years when stored correctly.

CLEANING

Clean all equipment with white spirit immediately after use.

PREPARATION AND APPLICATION

Prepare the area to be treated, ensuring freedom from contaminants using an appropriate degreaser.
Corrosion, other surface contamination, and loosely adhering matter should be removed using a stiff brush or an appropriate grade of wet and dry abrasive paper.
Mask area to protect from over-spray.
Shake the can thoroughly for at least two minutes.
Repeat shaking at regular intervals during use.
Apply sparingly from a distance of 8 – 10 inches.
Apply typically 2 to 3 coats or as necessary to achieve total and even coverage, leaving 10-15 minutes between each application.
Allow to dry for 24 hours to develop maximum paint hardness.
On completion of use, invert can and depress actuator for a few seconds to prevent nozzle blockage.

PRECAUTIONS

Flammable keep away from sources of ignition.
Ensure good ventilation during application – use outdoors or in a well-ventilated area.
Wear gloves, goggles and suitable protective clothing.
In case of contact with eyes rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice. Remove contact lenses if present and easy to do.
Remove splashes from the skin with a recognised hand cleaner or plenty of soap and water.
Keep out of reach of children.
May cause drowsiness or dizziness.
Avoid breathing vapour/spray.
Dispose of contents/container in accordance with local regulations.
Repeated exposure may cause skin dryness or cracking. Contains acetone.
CAUTION: Pressurised container: May burst if heated. Protect from sunlight. Do not expose to temperatures exceeding 122°F. Do not pierce or burn, even after use. Do not spray on an open flame or other ignition source. Keep away from heat, hot surfaces, sparks, open flames and other ignition sources. No smoking.
Use only as directed.
